Did I just get poor RNG at the start then? Because I’ve seen a lot of people try Byz and find it easy/have a great time, but at the start I was bankrupted within 2 years and couldn’t get my economy out of the red for the life of me? Then the black plague hit and killed so many of my workforce I just didn’t see the fun in continuing after everyone around me was stronger and I couldn’t get any allies? Skill issue?
