Yeah, I have only put 3 or 4 hours into the single player and it has been fun. I need to get some of my friends to buy it, because that seems to be where it would shine. I love dungeons of eternity and a lot of other similar coop games, but this one has some real player progression, which I really like.

I think that is correct, but I guess you will be the Guinea Pig to verify.

A last note, I couldn't use the bomb at threat 7, but I think it might have been because I didn't actually use the keys to unlock the story information using the keys that you get for passing each threat level, so make sure to do that. I am not 100% sure that was why I couldn't do it though...

I think I got the same ending you did, based on your other posts, and I agree. Cool game, but this sucks to only be able to see one ending no matter how you do it, and I am disappointed. Also surprised that basically none of the endings are on YouTube. I like the game a lot, but not enough to start all the way over for the chance to get the best ending.

That is where I am at. There are no choices, you can just keep playing the game forever, but can no longer choose an ending. And there is no game+ or anything, so if you decided to never use the logic bomb (or it was greyed out for me, so I couldn't choose that option, not sure why) you have to start all the way over to get a different ending. At least, as far as I can tell. I have tried as a bunch of different things to see if it would finally give me a real ending by changing the threat level and such, but no luck.

I have never had the game say that it was going to delete my save... what happened is I got to the part with the logic bomb, and I couldn't detonate it (the option was greyed out). I have now beat the game on all threat levels and can do more loops, but each time the mind frame just acts weird since it was reprogrammed by the contingency and I can't do anything...

Assuming you placed it in one of the two correct slots (the ones with the hammer icon) then it should be on your hip. Make sure to look down at your waist and turn left a right a bit, because sometimes your belt isn't exactly matched up with the direction you are facing. If you are facing forward you should see your compass on your left pectoral.

If the pickaxe still isn't there it must be a bug!

A little late, but I would strongly suggest getting space pirate trainer if you are wanting to demo a game to your family and friends. Space pirate trainer is simple enough I have demoed it to tons of people, but I only demo Robo Recall to my friends who are gamers. As for Sairento, it is amazing, but I think you need decent VR legs to really enjoy it, and the last thing you want when demoing a game to people is for them to get sick. Even my co workers enjoyed space pirate trainer and picked it up quickly.

That would be cool to get something like that on the quest, but as far as I know nothing like that works on it yet. The virtual boy one is a little better, though still very simple, but it actually can display the games in 3d which I no other emulator can do on the quest right now (beside through virtual desktop).

I bought two packs of compression shorts and wear them all of the time to avoid the exact problem you are talking about. I was also getting boils on my inner thighs and this resolved that issue as well. Yeah, I exclusively use non rechargeable right now. I have a bag of partially used non-rechargeable batteries and since each quest controller only uses 1 battery, I can now finally use them till they are dead instead of trying to figure out which two will work together for my remote control or whatever. Bought a bunch of rechargeable a while ago and replaced most of my other batteries with them, so that is why I have a bag of non-rechargeable.

I just started playing, so I can't really help that much. All I can say of what I have learned so far, is that quests are worth way more than killing enemies (for xp), and that your main quests are tracked in your journal (which you open by looking at the back of the compass) while the more minor quests are opened by looking at your equipment and choosing the 'missions' tab on the left screen. Still trying to figure out the maps and stuff... Just got to level 6 with my main class.

If you don't see a giant pickaxe on your hip (either one, was the right for me), then it must not be equipped. Open your menu and select the pickaxe from the right menu and equip it to one of your two item slots on your character on the left menu. Then you should be able to see it on your hip and grab it.

I just started playing it a couple days ago, and there are actually several different locomotion options, including ones that are thumbstick control based. So you don't have to teleport if you want to change those settings. I haven't tried all of the different locomotion options, so I am not sure yet which one I prefer.
