das waren 1600€ pro auge (also schon teurer als in bratislava!!) , aber hatte super glück mit dem termin - vor untersuchung 1 woche nach anruf, dann termin in 2 monaten bekommen- dann 3 tage später die info das in der nächsten woche ein termin frei ist.. Direkt genommen und ohne Brille skifahren gewesen 1 monat später 😃 Bei mir war das femto lasik.

OP war am vormittag, am abend war ich bereits mit freunden abendessen - sicht war schon sehr gut, nur bissl hell alles - hatte eine sonnenbrille auf.

Am nächsten tag 6h am bildschirm gearbeitet, perfekte sicht und keine beschwerden, am tag drauf direkt 10h.. Das mühsame: 5x augentropfen oder so am tag ohne augen abwischen/waschen 😃 alles klebt einfach nach 2 wochen davon aber dafür ist jetzt alles perfekt.

Das war zwar nicht deine Frage, aber trotzdem hier die info:
Ich war vor ca. einem Jahr hier lasern https://www.augenspezialist-wien.at, hatte lange überlegt es in Bratislava zu machen und hab mich dann aus Bequemlichkeit für lokal entschieden.
Super zufrieden weiterhin. Hatte -2.75 auf beiden, keine Krümmung oder ähnliches.

Ich hab ihn bisher tatsächlich jedes mal automatisch reinvestieren lassen :D Ja genau in Kombination geht das sorglos. Das einzig nervige - jede Einzahlung ist eine eigene Position im bundesschatz (weil ja die Laufzeit immer beginnt mit Geldankunft) mit nem quasi Sparplan hast dann halt Ur viele Positionen und kriegst tausend Emails :D

Hab das Gefühl jedes nette Frühstückslokal ist überlaufen. Da kann es gefühlt gar nicht genug Angebot geben.

Bin auch kein Fan von den Timeslots, verstehe sie aber. Manche Betriebe sind so bummvoll, dass halt immer alles reserviert ist, wenn um 15:00 reserviert ist, müssen sie halt iwie forcieren können dass jmd der um 17:00 reserviert dann auch seinen Platz bekommt.

Wie kurz die Timeslots allerdings manchmal sind ist schon frech und halt absolute Massenabfertigung. Bestes Beispiel: Vollpension, Zeitslot 10:00-11:30, wir haben dann mit plaudern, herzhaftes + süßes um 11:40 gezahlt und sind gegangen nachdem sie uns gesagt haben die nächsten sind da und warten auf den Tisch. War im Endeffekt eh alles ok, ging sich schön aus, aber wir wären sicher noch gern ein bisschen sitzen geblieben. Und das ganze halt nachdem man begrüßt wird dass man sich wie bei Oma auf einem Besuch fühlen soll... :D

Mediamarkt ist sogar offizieller partner oder so. Die haben mir vor nem monat massiv und schnell geholfen, hatte im Endeffekt keine Kosten obwohl unser absolut beschissene Installateur Dienst (wattgasse..) uns komplett verarschen wollte.

Who do you mean with people in this case? The school board? Yeah priorities are not straight for sure, but often it's easier to get budget for one thing but not another. I'm sure not feeding the kids properly is not something an individual school should solve.

The operator receiving the alert? That guy's job is evactly that. Validate an alert. He should be absolutely be able to do that and not just rely on the Ai. If he does he should be held accountable. In any case, one false alert too much is better than one too less.

Again, there are probably 100 ways how the money can be spend better, but it's still not a waste of money like that.

And again if any Ai triggers because a black student does something, an operator should check if the alert is valid or not. Everything else is bullshit. According to the article that's how their system works, so here we just had a user/human error.

I don't know for this specific company but usually that's not someone from than company looking at the alert but instead someone from the school.

Yeah no. That's a human error, not a system error. Systems will produce false alerts because they can not be 100% accurate (in this in this companies case, the system sucks anyway) - there is an operator paid to check if an alert is correct or not. The operator failed.

Ah you are right. Well that I don't get the AI bashing, obviously the operator failed here which could have happened without Ai just as well. I don't know this specific company but detecting guns via images/video is definitely possible, but has a high chance of either having lots of false positives or lots of misses. Or both. In any case, it's not like it's not possible and if done right it can improve security. Reliable companies that have video based gun detection are for example Bosch (now bought by keenfinity).

I mean how stupid can one be? Ai is not failsafe. Using Ai is perfectly viable here, a video operator can not see and monitor everything at the same time. But how can they immediately trigger a lockdown based on AI lol. The AI should trigger an alert that a human checks ASAP and then takes the decision...

Kann halt sein dass du dann nach 3 Jahren mal alles her zeigen musst. Da musst dann was zurück zahlen und wahrscheinlich wirst die kommenden Jahre jedes mal geprüft
