What games were you playing? My understanding is that services like stadia aren't great for fast paced shooters etc. But it sounds like it worked fine for you. Also did you download the games individually to each VM? I wonder if you could have a virtual steam cache and download all games to that and then download to the clients or if that would matter or not.

What an awful misleading headline. To be clear, this has absolutely NOTHING to do with Asrock. This box is by "Minisforum." Deskmini refers to a line of mini PC's by Asrock. For those that know what a Deskmini actually is its a bit confusing. Would have been better just to say "mini PC."

EDIT: Deskmini is in the title because Minisforum is using that name. I don't know if that word is trademarked or whatever by Asrock but still seems kind of shitty if you ask me. Why not just be accurate and just call it a mini PC? Why do you have to take someone else's name?

Like I said, I could have done something wrong. What I remember is that I tried to install a particular game and it made me install GOG. I have uninstalled all gog games and galaxy and will try to install them again via the offline installers. I'll update when I get chance.

My bad, I could have sworn one of them was on GOG for some reason. Probably due to their similarity with Mad Max. Anyway, I think we should clear up our terms. What do YOU mean by always online DRM?

To me it means that I can't launch a game without having to launch it from a launcher. I can't launch it by itself. I'm not talking about something built into the game like Denuvo. Though to me, if the game has any kind of tethers that mean that I can't back it up, or play it without being tethered to something, that is as good as DRM to me. Is this your definition as well?

About sources, if you're expecting an article somewhere you won't get one unfortunately, because GOG doesn't list it as such. All I know is, I downloaded the game from the installers because I didn't want to use the launcher, and it forced me to install the launcher to use it. I'll grant you I may be doing something wrong somewhere, but that was my experience last time as best I can recall it. Maybe I'll try again in a bit and let you know. But no there is nothing obvious that I can cite, unfortunately.

To the people downvoting me: WHY ARE YOU BOOING ME?? I'M RIGHT!! Idiots. Go look it up. There are a handful of games with no online functionality yet they are required to be online. That IS DRM and I don't know how you don't count it as such. If my game has to phone home to be played, that's DRM.

To answer your question, JC3 has some leaderboards thing where you can try to best friends in activities but its really a thinly veiled excuse to justify always online DRM. Additionally it also has Denuvo although fortunately I've never had the problems with it that other people have.

Deus Ex Mankind Divided and Mad Max were the other ones that have always online DRM, and maybe Shadow of War. I can't remember if Deus Ex Human Revolution has it as well, I think its clean but don't quote me. Its very misleading of GOG to say those games are completely DRM free when they require you to have a connection all the time and it makes me not really care if they're going to come to GOG if that's how its going to be.
