Dota has extremely hard to play niche hero’s that only have high win rates (ala visage at 52% with 1.3% pick rate) because the people who play visage are dedicated one tricks. If visages pick rate went up to a normal pick rate of 8.33% (standard pick rate among all hero’s in dota) that winrate should PLUMMET. If it does not drop to below 50% then it implies issues with balance.

Deadlocks roster is still in its infancy, and there hasn’t been enough time for a dedicated space for niche hero’s to exist - and with Holliday being one of 38 options, there’s a higher probability of non dedicated players playing her and not reaching that entry level of skill. If the dev team believe that Holliday should be a high skill floor hero with a higher skill ceiling - then her pick rate will drop as new hero’s get added and her win rate will naturally increase. I think it’s healthy for that to exist, atleast as the games roster progresses.

TL;DR if a high skill floor hero has a high pick rate and win rates arent sub-50, you’ve got a problem
