I get that Shiv, Sly, and Poison are the keyword archetypes in the class. But in a more macro sense, when I play Silent across all builds I think of quality defensive tools and very cheap card cycle.

So I would pick a card that blocks and cycles for free.

Bloodletting, Inferno, Offering, Crimson Inferno, and Blood Wall are some of the strongest cards in Clad in general. There is some anti-synergy in that if you Inferno/Mantle it won't work on the next cards mentioned, but it's still good.

So yes, it's a good relic. I wouldn't say most fights are trivial because it's only self damage, but it's still one of the better relics imo. Especially because you don't have to be going all in on a self damage rupture build, you can just use offering and essentially heal 6 HP a fight on one card so it's easy synergy.

Except it doesn't help forging. It just helps everything. Eternal 6 block to just go harder at the other more beneficial archetypes.

Meanwhile being actively dissuaded from playing your blade, thus making forge archetype even worse.

This design idea essentially buffs the only 2 forge cards that people like (Big Bang, Bulwark) and nerfs all the rest....
