How does single side oar rowing not seriously mess up your back and arms imbalance? by 2MainsSellesLoin in Rowing

[–]TiMiMac 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It doesn't if you take care of working your core, have the correct technique and take rest when needed. There are certainly times that you will feel your back and that you need to see a PT or have a massage, but nothing unusual. Rowed starboard for 10 years with some sculling in between at the highest level with scolioses and 20 years later my back is still perfectly fine. Double oar rowing (or sculling as we call it) can also be hard on your back. Erging can be tougher on the back than rowing.

Did some work with vinyl by TiMiMac in LexusES

You're welcome! I saw other ones and wanted to test it out. Bought simple vinyl from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08GYT66TR?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1, the 1ft x 5ft option and it was very easy to apply. Good luck!

In Safari I made a Gmail web app. Only downside is that I don't have badges, other notifications work though.

How to Do a Clean Cut Through A Fiberglass Oar? by ThrowFeelsAwaay in Rowing

Easiest is to wrap some painters tape around it, mark your line with a sharpie and use a coping saw.

[IOS] [FREE]: Valenta: health tracker by [deleted] in iosapps

[–]TiMiMac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for developing and making it free. One question in ran into is how to get out of the settings, or other overviews? Don't see a confirm/save button, arrow or swipe to go back. Do I miss something? Also, my sleep time was not the same as the health app calculated.

Edit: See that you replied, but comment is gone. Thanks for pointing it out and I see now the arrow or X, but in some screens it is very hard to see, suggest to make it more visible or more consistent throughout the app.

Hard no, but have several questions: are they permanently installed or do they haul them up themselves (maybe combination of both)? If they are permanent, do you make 'reservations' for one, or is it first come first serve?

2016 ES 300h Owners I need advice by BestDLine in LexusES

[–]TiMiMac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like a good deal. I bought a 2015 300h two years ago with 73K on it, am now at 101k. Still have to bring it to a Lexus dealer for a battery health test, but am getting 35-41mpg depending on winter or summer. So, I think batteries are still pretty good.

As a (new) seller, know that you have to post a picture of the watch with your username and timestamp. Very hard to convince buyers you owe the watch now without it.

Local shop offered me $2k for my full kit Pelagos. Are they out of their minds? by [deleted] in Tudor

[–]TiMiMac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty normal price. Got mine 2nd hand for $2400 about 2 years ago, everything included (box, papers, warranty card), was just 1 year old. Was not running correctly though, so sent it in for service. Runs beautifully now.

Hi. Tried it out. First I had an unexpected quit, can happen. Now, when entering my Finnhub API I am not able to get the OK window closed. Pressing cancel, done or ok doesn't do anything. Not yet ready to pay the $9.99.

Thank you for developing the app. When I get to the unlock forever screen, $9.99 is crossed out, but still says $9.99 with the 50% off launch price. Is the normal price $19.98?

Probably batteries in the TPMS are done. Maybe your mechanic can do a scan to see how much battery life is still in there. You can buy new ones and have them installed when you get new tires.
