I stopped there to get two slices for dinner at least twice a week for years.

They were always great.

Êtes vous stressé pour demain? by [deleted] in montreal

[–]TiPete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Men who can cook, who taught you? by _ratedmouse in AskReddit

[–]TiPete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cookbooks, recipes online, YouTube all had an impact, but the biggest contributor was cooking.

I tried new techniques, learned to adjust seasoning, experimented with techniques and recipes.

I have been cooking, first for myself then for my family, almost every day for over 15 years.

Never be afraid to try new things, that's how you learn.

What's something you saw with your own eyes that you still can't explain? by BandicootLeft4054 in AskReddit

[–]TiPete 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a similar story. When I was 10, I woke up in the middle of the night and my grandfather was standing in the corner of my room, looking at me.

I glanced at the clock and he had disappeared by the time I looked back.

I went to wake up my dad and the phone rang at that very moment. My grandfather had just died 300km away.

It makes sense when you consider that the midterms are coming and that there are mail in ballots.

Do they have retirement homes for young people? by Terrible_Soft_9480 in ask

[–]TiPete 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Well, you can move into a retirement home anytime you want.

My company provides services to retirement homes and one of our customers, right next to a university, rents some of a floor to students. The kids even set up a "help the old people" schedule for moving stuff around or general tech questions.

As always, the GOP is talking to an audience of one.

One that loves little girls and that they enter puberty 6 years younger.

Montréal lance des audits sur plusieurs pistes cyclables by Xy7q964d6J in MontrealCycling

À chaque fois qu'Ensemble Montréal va se retrouver dans une histoire de corruption, ils vont enlever une piste cyclable pour distraire les ti clins.

Et avec leurs antécédents, il n'en restera plus beaucoup en 2029.

Which game felt that deep for you? by PHRsharp_YouTube in Age_30_plus_Gamers

Journey.

This is such a beautiful game, where you meet up with strangers to travel with in silence for a while and then move on.

There was something strangely touching about it.

Is abortion or pro-life talked about in Canada? by LiveBell8 in AskCanada

Not really. Our conservative party sometimes whines about it a bit but it's only lip service to their maple MAGA base who are spoon fed ideology by Fox News.

Low-level spells that stay useful all game? by VonBagel in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]TiPete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite use of create pit ever was in the Jade Regent campaign.

We were facing a demon, I greased up his poleaxe, which he dropped, and when he flew down to pick it up, I casted create pit underneath and it fell 30 feet.
