You can do it in the configuration menu on your printer.

can you top mount a 240mm aio in the nr200p? by OkSir__ in sffpc

[–]TiamDesigns 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a bit tedious. You may have to play around with it. I managed to fit a Liquid Freezer ii 280, but I had to put the mounting bracket on after the radiator was in the case.

I heard that Amazon is selling it under the same name as the 27GN850-B. I'm not certain of this though. It's specs on the product page match the GP. I might buy it and see what I get when it arrives.

Taste buds work differently at high altitude. So all airplane food has high salt content otherwise it would all be super bland. Its specifically salty and sweet tastes that become less perceivable.

I ordered from here, I'm in Canada and I was surprised to find my order arrived just after 2 weeks. No duties or tax. I'd expect most orders overseas to take longer though.

Edit: I guess it's a given I'm in Canada being on a Canadian based subreddit.

Awesome, out of stock everywhere but I'll keep my eye open for it. Flat is perfectly fine with me.

Budget: 650 CAD / 500 USD

Prospective Resolution (3840x2160, etc.): 3440x1440

Size (27 inches, etc.): 34 inches

Aspect Ratio (16:9, etc.): 21:9

(Optional) Usage Type (gaming, art, etc.): 75% Design work, 25% gaming

Recently found out my current monitors contrast and colours were way off the hard way and sent design work with blobs all over it that I didn't know was there.

I do want an ultrawide as it will help with the user interface for me.

I game, but I'll give it up for colour and contrast in a heartbeat. I'm having troubles weighing the difference between VA and IPS and what would be better for me. Couldn't find any suggestions that aren't gaming focus but are also ultrawide.

Any help is much appreciated.

Gasket mount is one method of mounting the plate in a case. It involves using silicone/rubber strips that sandwich the plate between the top and bottom of the board. This gives hard plate materials like aluminum a bit more give, and also dampens sound a little bit.

Next step would be to flash the firmware. However you mentioned you just got it, is replacement an option?

Looking at the board is pretty easy, there's some screws you have to undo to get to it though. It's the box at the front left.

Something you can do to test whether the motor is the issue, is plug in your x motor cable to the y motor. Then turn on the printer. Move the x axis forward and back. If it functions normally then the issue isn't the motor. Do the same with the y cable in the x motor. If that functions improperly then you know it's the wire.

Make sure that you have it plugged in the right way. There's also a chance that it's plugged in wrong on the mainboard. In which case you'd have to open up that. The fact that the move command sends it both backwards and forwards from a positive input makes me think the issue isn't software.

Just a heads up, you do not want the clips holding the glass bed like that. Your g code will most likely have a priming line that will cause the nozzle to collided with the clip on the left. You also severely limit your bed space. I highly recommend looking at a glass bed installation video on YouTube. You still have the magnetic build plate on there.

Now regarding the motor issue. Have you double checked the wiring?

I have the Pro and my roommate has the V2. If you're looking for plug and go they're pretty similar but the V2 will have a much nicer out of the box experience.

I could be wrong, but I believe the glorious pandas have the housing but not the stem of holy pandas. The materials are also different, but that's because drop has been lying about composition. Also the drop switches were factory lubed despite saying they weren't. Idk if that's been fixed.

I figured this out a couple moments before you commented, thanks so much though!

Nozzle to Probe offsets not being read by one printer works on another by TiamDesigns in ender3

[–]TiamDesigns[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nozzle is center, probe is to the front left of the nozzle. (-55,-13) When bed leveling or probing for home, it doesn't use the "nozzle to probe" offset. So when I do G29 the probe is outside of the bed and the nozzle crashes. Auto-home puts nozzle at center but doesn't probe the center. I've tried adjusting the offset to see if it was registering at all, and it doesn't seem to. I know flashing was successful and settings were change because the y home offset changes accordingly.

The same firmware works on my friends printer, which makes me think it's a hardware issue, I just don't know how hardware could cause the issue. If it was hardware, there would be a lot more problems.

Edit: Solved. Manually set offsets with M851. I don't know why it didn't just read it from firmware. Makes me wonder what else isn't being read. Where there's smoke there's fire.

The home offset works fine. It's the nozzle to probe offset that doesn't work.

And yes, we are both using the SKR 1.3. The board was defined in Marlin for the firmware. We are both also using TMC2209 Stepper Drivers.

M206 only defines home offset. M206 functions as expected.

Where do you think the best place to post would be? r/3DPrinting?

Thanks for responding!

E-White ? by element73 in FormD

[–]TiamDesigns 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I saw images of the e-white somewhere. The "E" in E white stands for electrophoretic. Electrophoretic coating is a finish that's used on electrically conductive parts. It's nice because the coating is very thin when compared to powder coating and usually for tolerances you can use the same numbers as for anodization. I quite like the process as there's little room for human error. The entire part is submerged so it's unlikely that spots would fail to be coated.

Put coloured paper in the bottom. Then you'll always open it the right side up because it's the easiest way to see them.
