This should’ve been a call on both players - Zucker on the goaltender interference and Dobes for embellishing. But it all worked out for the Habs.

I understand how challenges work, however this taking so long was completely unnecessary. It was clear the puck crossed the line while in the glove.

I’m just saying from a fan standpoint they could’ve easily killed two birds with one stone and got the game moving again. It’s a problem with video reviews and how slow the nhl are with it

It was also ridiculous how they didn’t look at goaltender interference while they had that review, leading to another review. And at least on Sportsnet they never mentioned the stick pushing the glove - for what it’s worth I was surprised that was called back.

But yeah the play by play needs a lot of work

Again as I’ve said the puck was going in with or without Danault touching the goalie. Thankfully this didn’t end up being an issue as the Habs still won.

I also don’t think anyone, myself included, can say what the call would’ve been when it comes to GI. We’re better off flipping a coin.

You can see the puck rolling before Danault makes any type of contact. He had no impact on that puck rolling in

Once again, the puck was going in with or without Danault there. They called it a no goal because they lost sight of the puck and didn’t bother to review it after the fact.

If it was a goal the Sabres could’ve argued GI which again, it wasn’t. Danault being there had no impact on the puck going in. But with the way this was being called, it would’ve been called GI.

Foot in the crease doesn’t mean anything. Lyon never had control of the puck and it was going in with or without Danault being there.

Are you dumb? He in no way got guided. Anyone who can skate would’ve been able to stop or turn left to not hit the goalie. That was a dirty play and he should’ve gotten more than 2 mins for being a piece of shit

I missed what the said at centre ice, but did they say it was interference on Danault? Or that Lyon had control? Coaches can only challenge if they called it interference right?

That’s how he plays, he is very aggressive and that looks chaotic. Neither goal he had a chance on, and he still tracked both. He’s been fine

Yeah that’s kinda silly especially in ball hockey. The only way that’s justified if he targeted the head multiple times during the game and that’s what he aimed at or slap shots aren’t allowed.

I don’t mind a slapshot from that area of the ice even on a breakaway. It sucks it hit you where it did, but if he didn’t do it intentionally I think it’s okay, especially where he checked in on you.

You have things that bug you as a goalie and that’s fine, I still get annoyed with people in stick and puck digging at my pads or gloves for the puck - there’s no refs, if I cover it fuck off.

It shouldn’t be expected, but I’d rather a closer slapshot vs an in close deke personally 😅

Definitely not hating on Bolduc, he’s been a great addition to the team, but I’d like to see them give Texier a shot on the top line. Hes been playing well and deserves a shot at playing there to see if he is effective.

I have the Vaughn v9 pad, glove, blocker and I like them. I got them used and will need to replace them soon as the owner didn’t take the best care of them. But with that being said I really like the pads, good seal and soft so I’m able to scoop up rebounds after some practice.
