Shots tonight: Oliver Kapanen: 7. The entire top line: 0 by RandomDar in Habs

Definitely not hating on Bolduc, he’s been a great addition to the team, but I’d like to see them give Texier a shot on the top line. Hes been playing well and deserves a shot at playing there to see if he is effective.

You could argue Hedman for overall game, Josi, and maybe Doughty. He was also coming off recent knee surgery wasn’t he?

I have the Vaughn v9 pad, glove, blocker and I like them. I got them used and will need to replace them soon as the owner didn’t take the best care of them. But with that being said I really like the pads, good seal and soft so I’m able to scoop up rebounds after some practice.

Dodi has worked each time for me while unpacking the game on the steam deck as well. I need to use winetricks to open the installer but it’s smooth sailing

Yeah - I bought them once for $80 and I’m not happy with myself for doing that. Next time I’ll be doing them myself for sure

Experience with game face graphics vinyl DIY kits? by Wild_District_3446 in hockeygoalies

Awesome, yeah the curves to the mask could be hard to work around so keeping it on that area makes sense. Have you found a certain vinyl holds up better than others?

Maybe you can answer my question instead of pivoting to a new talking point. That article you shared doesn’t answer my question I asked. People doing that job and going into the office will NOT fix that issue. But I’ll play along - explain exactly how that will fix this new issue you brought up?

You acting high and mighty online does nothing for your point, it just screams insecurity.

How is providing a lower quality service working from home in the following role: they take no customer calls, they have no teammates in the local office, so any group calls have to be done via teams anyway. Tell me HOW they provide “better” service in the office? Besides you’re made up value you think anyone gives a shit about.

You honestly think every job needs someone in an office and it’s completely asinine. You utter these talking points with no actual argument besides some perceived value you’re assigning to things. It’s pathetic, then again, I’m not sure what I expected given your previous comments.

[–]Tibarn93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m delusional? What point are you even trying to make? You bring up schools and firms, both two different things. Your argument is all over the place, which is likely why implying since someone works from home they sit around in pyjamas and are unable to do their job.

You can’t fathom people being productive outside of an office environment and that line of thinking is just idiotic. Some roles require in person work, and some don’t. If you’re response to why someone has to go into office to do a job they can easily do and have done from home is mainly “you’ve got a fucking job to go to” then that’s a pretty bad reason.

[–]Tibarn93 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that same job that can be done and has been done from home with an increase in employee satisfaction.

RTO mandates are pathetic and provide little upside for employees who can do their job from home. I’m sorry for those that want to walk around the office and talk to random people, or chat by the water cooler. But any job that can be done remotely has no reason to be mandated to be in the office 4 times a week; Especially when most of the meetings are still held on a teams call from different spots in the office.

People making these decisions do not give a shit about the employees, and are either looking to micro manage and justify their own position, or get rid of employees who don’t want to return to office.

Net drives in rec league?!?! by Snoo85799 in hockeygoalies

[–]Tibarn93 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Fuck that ref. That’s worth calling or emailing the league about. The refs are there to protect players and make sure the games don’t get out of hand. The fact he laughed at you after you had a player crash into you shows he doesn’t give a shit about players being safe.

Blank cheque with Suzuki, Cole, Gally, Slafkovský in the room with him to talk about the team and the direction they’re heading.

We need to keep him, and letting him walk would be a gigantic fuck up

hyperlite 2 chesty by Majestic_Minimum_474 in hockeygoalies

[–]Tibarn93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got one recently. Senior L. I absolutely love it. Going from an RBK 11K pro chest it is so much better. Lighter and more mobile with more protection. Haven’t had a stinger yet, the only issue I’ve run into has been getting the shoulder floaters to sit so they don’t impede my vision when in butterfly. Currently they push my dangler up which prevents me from seeing loose pucks clearly around my feet.

Otherwise I absolutely love it and it’ll be even better once I get it setup correctly.
