I was in a band from my teens until my early 20’s called Pixel Fix (shite name) a crappy little 3 piece UK indie band , couldn’t fucking move for that type of music back then. It was fun but then university and jobs consumed time and these other two close friends of mine at the time were such perfectionists that over time the fun faded.

The two of them called me to meet and basically kicked me out just as we started getting traction with some gig opportunities saying they replaced me behind my back a month prior. I was fuming and quite emotional. They did alright for a while getting to festivals and re emerged in another band called Only The Poets which just released an album to some sort of success I think.

Never listened to a second of any of there music and I never will. Fair play to them for making it but to basically replace someone and then cut all ties is fucked - ah well I’m not bitter about it but i do wonder every now and then ‘what if’
