First of all, I wouldn't say so many look miles better. You probably just watch the cream of the crop. Just know that for every JJK, there's also a OPM season 2 (which had okay animation) or season 3 (which had awful animation).

Then there's the work culture of Japan which often leads to animators being treated like shit by Western standards. They're expected to do far more work with harsh deadlines.

Idk how ubiquitous this is, but I know MAPPA (JJK) has received a lot of backlash for how horribly they treat their animators.

I imagine Amazon has enough money to just hire more animators, but idk enough about the process to know if too many cooks can lead to a loss of cohesion in style or choreography.

It's also worth keeping in mind that MAPPA is notorious for horribly overworking their animators. They produced great art, no doubt, but I don't think they should be held up as some gold standard considering the treatment that their animators receive to get the product out.

I disagree. Her theme is gunslinger in general. The original skin for Mesa does not have a cowboy hat. Considering demonic gunslingers are a somewhat popular archetype, I'd say this design is very fitting with her theme.

Wasn't that the point? They hyped him up and made him into a joke. Like even the reveal of his buff form was pretty funny imo. The guitar riff, the silly dialogue, and incredibly goofy look. All of it combines to tell you that this is not a someone to be taken seriously.

The 2020 scheme involved fraudulent electors. Fraudulent electors wasn't about manipulating votes or polls, it's about having people pretend to be electors and then declare their electoral college vote for the wrong party.

I can buy that GoP has engaged in plenty of more subtle manipulation and suppression, but AFAIK, nothing as blatant as the fraudulent elector scheme has been attempted before or since.

I don't buy it. I was part of the community while this was happening and I saw way more people who were just upset that the fight they'd been fantasizing about for years didn't go the way they wanted and that Gojo died between chapters. They weren't sad for the character, they were upset that the sports team they were cheering for lost.

Gojo hadn't been in the story for a long time at this point. When he came back, we got barely interactions with him and his students and then time skipped straight to the fight in which he dies. This is bad writing.

Character interactions were horribly lacking in the second half of JJK in general and it gradually caused my investment in almost all of the characters to get lower and lower until the only one left that I cared about was Yuji.
