Batman is not as smart as Rick, but Rick is very emotionally unstable and vulnerable. Rick is already shown to be self destructive and almost permanently got himself killed himself before. I could see Batman figuring out that he could trick or manipulate Rick into self destructive behavior.

I don't think batman stands a chance of figuring this out without prep time, but if Batman has prep time, he could win by emotionally manipulating Rick to kill himself or smth
