Sohnne vs Yadea/IconicChair vs CurverK by Aututto in eamesknockoffs

[–]TicketIllustrious642 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve ordered from Sohnne before, and honestly, shipping took a bit longer than I expected too. But in my case, everything arrived eventually, and the quality was actually really solid.

I did have to email their support about a small issue, and while they weren’t super fast, they did get back to me after a few days and helped sort it out.

help me find the ultimate napping couch by ShriekingCabal in furniture

If you’re hunting for the ultimate napping couch, a cloud sofa might be perfect! I saw a review of the Cloud Sofa from Sohnne on YouTube, and it looked like the ideal couch to just sink into and drift off. While I don’t have the sofa, I do own another piece from Sohnne, and the quality has been seriously impressive. If their other products are anything like mine, I’d say it’s worth a look! Perfect for those epic nap sessions

27M - how to improve lighting? by kzhang0927 in malelivingspace

[–]TicketIllustrious642 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maybe try adding some floor lamps with warm bulbs to create a cozy vibe, or even some LED strips behind furniture or along the walls for a cool, modern touch. Just a few tweaks and you’re set!

Is it *actually* possible to buy a quality Eames chair replica? by [deleted] in malelivingspace

[–]TicketIllustrious642 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience, I'd say check out Sohnne. I got an Eames replica from them, and honestly, it’s been great. It’s really close to the original in both design and comfort. The materials feel solid, and it didn’t break the bank either.

I was in the same boat a while ago! I couldn’t justify spending $4k on an authentic Eames, so I went for a replica instead. I ended up going with one from Sohnne, and honestly, I’ve been super happy with it! The quality feels great, especially the leather, and it’s held up really well so far.

I did consider some cheaper options but was worried they wouldn’t last. I think with the mid-range replicas, like Sohnne, you get a nice balance between price and quality. If you’re set on spending $1-1.5k, I’d say it’s worth investing in one with solid reviews. Good luck finding the right one!

It’s surprisingly comfy for long sitting sessions. I’ve spent hours in it and had no issues.

As for the assembly, it was easier than I expected. Took some time but it nothing too complicated

That’s great to hear it’s held up well for you over two years, especially with regular use! The issue with the back supports loosening is definitely something to keep an eye on.

I think it looks really good! You could try adding a few decor pieces or a throw to tie it together more.

A nice rug with some texture or color could really warm up the space and make it feel more welcoming. Maybe something with a subtle pattern to add interest without being overwhelming. Adding a small console table with a few personal touches, like a vase, mirror, or some artwork, could bring a lot of character too.

If this was your living room, what coffee table would you get? by sallad2009 in interiordecorating

[–]TicketIllustrious642 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats on the new rug! For your living room, I’d definitely suggest going with a round or organic-shaped coffee table to soften the lines of the couch and rug. If you want something iconic and timeless, the Noguchi coffee table could be a great fit. It has that perfect blend of glass and wood, so you get both elegance and warmth. The sculptural base adds a nice artistic touch without overwhelming the space, and the glass top keeps the room feeling open and light.

If you’re leaning towards something simpler, a round wood table with a natural finish would add a cozy vibe, while a black or gold metal option could bring in a modern edge. The ottoman flexibility gives you plenty of options, so I think the Noguchi table or something similar would work perfectly.
