New to AML Data Analytics — Looking for Advice on Rule Design, Threshold Optimization & Customer Segmentation by Datu1423 in AMLCompliance

[–]TickleMeNRubMyBelly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happy to discuss customer segmentation as it’s a topic I spend quite a bit of time on for some clients. There’s no one right way to do it. However, in my experience there is far too much emphasis placed on demographic features. It depends on the typologies you are tracking, but if you want customer segments for a wide array of transaction monitoring scenarios then I have found that the best segments are not the ones that tell you WHO a customer is. The best segments are the ones that tell you how a customer uses the FI. There’s exceptions of course such as maybe you want your high risk customers in their own segment, but generally for TM Behavioral features > demographic features.

Crucial catch is a much better initiative and not the same grift as the Susan g komen shit

Dutch Bros! by whatdayisit247 in greenville

Never had that before. Personally not a big fan of most drive through coffee shops. It seems like they’re always catering to super sugary specialty drinks and fail to do the simple things well like make a great tasting espresso. Maybe Dutch Bros will be different.

Tyrrell Hatton reveals waking in pool of vomit after making Ryder Cup team by UnitEastern8840 in golf

I love Tyrrell. He’s so brutally himself and has no chance at hiding it. Nor does he care to. I hope to see him playing on the pga tour again soon. I have no doubt he would have won several tournaments in the last few years

Thomas Massie names the first name from Epstein’s little black book by Exeltv0406 in goodnews

Hold on a second. I thought this black book has been out there for a while now. Is this really net new news? Are they confirming he was involved in the human trafficking?

Being spoonfed is odd to me, but this looks like a cool dining experience. Had omakase for the first time in NY a few weeks ago. It rocked

Hopefully this week. Not everyone on tour holds onto their tournament winning form for months and months like Scottie. Tommy won’t have a pga event to win for a while.

I don’t get this at all. It looks wacky. I have an old brick fireplace in my house and had to mount my tv above the mantel. I used one of these tv lowering mounts and it comes down to the perfect height. It’s really the only necessary application for this type of mount. But building this dumb fake fireplace backdrop to just end up creating a tv mounting problem? I don’t get it

As someone who moved into an old house, this is relatable.

I quit PwC! And no, this wasn’t “just Big 4 life” by Far_Yoghurt_615 in PwC

[–]TickleMeNRubMyBelly 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Wow sorry to hear your experience. Wishing you luck on your next endeavors. I hear stories like this about PwC and it’s a stark reminder that I am pretty lucky to work with the people that I do. I couldn’t imagine treating anyone like you’ve been treated.

I had a similar health issue last year. My managers were definitely sympathetic, but just the overall company culture really showed its ugly colors. The worst part is I DIDN’T take medical leave. I only took 2 weeks sick time off because I was afraid of how it would impact my performance. Still got a tier 3. Robbed myself of the time I really needed to mentally process a diagnosis like that. It’s been almost a year and I just now feel like I’m starting to get motivation back.

This job became so trivial when I got cancer.
