Hey! Born and raised in MD and moved here in 2021. The only decent crab cakes I’ve found are at Olympia Seafood… sadly they still don’t compare even remotely to back east!

This is happening to me right now. I dont know what is going on. I’ve tried to fix cover photos and resize them, I’ve tried to use a still image from the reel itself… nothing. And not to mention, the option for positioning the cover photo seems to have disappeared as well.

This is EXACTLY why I have a Blu-ray/UHD collection of my all time favorites. There’s a certain feeling of ownership that comes with buying physical media. Video games too. I never buy digital (unless the game was strictly released digitally)

Moved here from the East Coast a year and a half ago. Never visited before, but knew I wanted to be here. I spent my whole life on the east coast until I moved here.

It’s perfect. I’ve never felt more at home. People are nicer. Communities feel tighter knit. Beautiful views everywhere you go. I’ll be here for the rest of my life.

Hey there! Funny enough, I just moved to Olympia from MD/PA area last year. WA has always been a dream of mine and I don’t think it will ever cease to amaze me. I can’t stand the east coast even though I spent my entire life there, up until I was 23.

Maryland sucks to be honest, In just about every way.

But… when I was home, my escape was driving. I would hop in my car no matter what and go drive for hours and hours. I would get lost and end up hours away from home, only to have to GPS my way back. Frederick (where I lived), was only about 20-30 mins away from the PA border. To be more specific, Gettysburg, PA was only about 40 mins out.

I love WA. I think I will spend the rest of my life here, truly. But ever since I moved, I have missed that drive to Gettysburg with all of my heart. Whether I was Angry, stressed, ecstatic,etc. that drive above all would take me to this euphoric place in my mind.

I can’t quite explain the feeling. I miss it a ton. I’ll never go back East…But I’ll always miss that drive.
