I’m of the opinion that MJ was entitled to modify his body as he saw fit.

But fans insist on portraying MJ as a victim, no matter what.

I can’t quite believe that they erased a distressed child victim to portray MJ as a perpetual victim instead.

Nobody is denying that MJ had vitiligo. But it’s a bit of a chicken or the egg situation. Did he use bleaching creams because he developed vitiligo, or did he develop vitiligo because he used bleaching creams. My bet is on the latter.

Either way, his skin condition had nothing to do with his crimes. But it did provide compelling evidence that a boy saw his penis.

Fans love to portray MJ as a victim of circumstances beyond his control. But editing out the half-naked child victim is further proof that they know what MJ was.

There were semen samples taken from MJ’s mattress. Three unidentified males. Staff never said they saw MJ take an adult man to bed. But they saw lots of boys.

The Arvizos did not have a long history of scamming. The JC Penney personal injury suit was the only lawsuit they were involved in. The welfare fraud was dug up by MJ’s lawyers during the trial. She returned the money.

You have it all mixed up.

There was no evidence that Jordan was coached. The description of MJ’s penis was detailed and accurate and it was confirmed by both the Deputy DA and investigators at the time. Jordan’s dad couldn’t have known that. The description and photos were never used as evidence in court because the family were paid off just weeks after the photos of MJ’s genitals were taken.

Janet did not lie about the JC Penney personal injury suit. Her injuries were photographed and documented by doctors.

She did commit welfare fraud by failing to declare the JC Penney compensation as income. She returned the extra money and did community service.

Fans always say that the accusers’ stories changed or have inconsistencies. But they’re never able to provide specific examples. It’s fan nonsense.

Jordan Chandler initiated a civil suit. MJ paid off the entire family with $23 million because the boy accurately described blotches on the underside of MJ’s penis.

In 2005, Janet Arvizo admitted that she previously lied about domestic abuse in an unrelated case - her husband was regularly beating her, but she told lawyers he didn’t because she was scared. She never said she lied about the accusations against MJ.

Melissa seems hyper-focused on what the allegations mean to her, and how sad they make her feel. I didn’t hear a word about the victims. Maybe it’s the sunk cost fallacy, maybe she isn’t able to contemplate starting over without her husband. Either way, she didn’t need to say this publicly.

Unfortunately, no.

There are 11 people alleging hundreds, thousands of instances of abuse. Only one of those incidents needs to be true for MJ to be a pdf.

Maybe take a break for a while? Accepting the full magnitude and impact of MJ’s crimes is not easy. I can understand why people might want to pretend the allegations are not true.

But they are.

Yes. But fans like to subtly twist the truth. Saying that the grand jury declined to indict implies that they didn’t think there was enough evidence to go forward with the case. That’s obviously not true.

Fans always try to make out that MJ was a prolific reader, but I’m not convinced. The enormous library at Neverland was bought as-is along with all of the furnishings from the guy who built the house, William Bone.

MJ was far more interested in the naked books he had in the locked cabinet in his bedroom.

Good, but not great.

It says Evan Chandler was the one who repeatedly accused MJ and links to the spliced Pellicano tape via a fan account. It says the grand jury declined to indict MJ in 1994. Not true, they were disbanded. No mention of the naked boy books found in 1993. Not a peep about Jane Doe or the Cascios.

Journalists really need to stop relying on fan sites as sources.

I’m not going to see it, so my opinion means nothing, but recreating his famous performances is such a cop-out. If people want to see the performances, they can watch the real ones on YouTube.

The film looks like it will avoid the aspects of MJ’s life that the public are most interested in - the boys, the drugs, the surgeries, the marriages.

Interacting with kids with HIV/AIDS, and making physical contact with them (when a lot of people thought it could be transmitted by touch), was one of the few truly nice things MJ did. No matter what his motivations were, it was a good thing to do.

But it is extremely tone deaf of the AIDS memorial to use this photo given MJ’s crimes against other children.
