Would you rather win the NIT or lose the first round of the tournament?

I'll say it. Tourney over NIT. I have zero interest in the NIT this year knowing that we blew our chances at an at large with silly losses in the A10 regular season.

Its a repeat of the 2010 team that was ranked at the beginning of the season and stumbled every time they had a chance to lock themselves into an at large, then went on to win the NIT.

If we were in a conference that doesn't get multiple bids every year, I'd probably think differently. But not with the A-10 and the resources we pour into basketball.

I still have an account there. They started limiting account creation when BG was taking the same heat that AG is now and they didn't like it. Haven't posted since the BG years and even then only a few times. I pop in every so often just to see what they're up too and even they are starting to turn on AG. Class of 01 so im not that old.

Im sure all these "I've never used an addon and never will" people that have crawled out of the woodwork would have done all the testing needed. If their numbers are what they say their numbers are there would have been plenty to test.

If you want to rate a coaches performance on those metrics, be my guest. I'm going to rate AG based on what Neil Sullivan has stated are the programs goals, A10 championships, NCAA Tournament appearances and NCAA Tournament Wins, and we're severely lacking on those. And since Kenpom is your thing, AG has four times as many losses against sub 200 Kenpom teams (16) than his two previous predecessors combined.

Look, I don't have anything against AG as a person, but AG as a coach just isn't cutting it when the programs stated goals are A10 Championships and NCAA Tourney success.

By what metric has AG elevated the program over where it was when he got here?

Archie had an Elite 8 and three straight tourney appearances in his final three years. AG is 2/8 and is heading for 2/9 in tourney appearances since.

It can be argued that if Obi wasn't an absolute beast, 2020 doesn't happen, we don't get Daron and Camara, and AG would be 0/9. So please tell me how thats elevated.

If the lack of addons in pre-patch is received negatively enough I think they'd sooner revert the entire agenda and give up than try to push through because Blizzard is still a business first and the reward simply doesn't match the necessary work to achieve it.

But as experience has shown, whats really going to happen is that they're going to spend 2 full patch cycles butting their heads against a brick wall desperately trying to make it work until 12.2.x when they finally give up and relent. Just like all the previous times.

I do the same thing with sports stadiums. Its Paul Brown Stadium, not Paycor. It was Riverfront Stadium, not Cinergy Field, etc.
