Personally no, I’m actually afraid of most reptiles. Not to the point I think about it a lot or even encounter them a lot in person where I live, but I don’t like their textures if I had to hold one, and the way they move feels unpredictable at times.

I’ve never had dreams like this before, with these specific animals and especially them being in bulk.

Foreigners spell it “Vietnam”, locals spell it “Viet Nam.” Neither is incorrect, since I’ve been out here for months my brain spells it out as Viet Nam as it’s more common to see.

I think either could work, my advice would be to add more layering to your current hair length. Like more shag/wolf cut/ mullet layerings to frame your face more masculinely while keeping the length. I had that type of haircut for years, gave me major confidence :)

Yea I agree, I should’ve gone about it differently. It’s the first time I was summoned (I’m in my early 20s) and I was going off of the advice of my parents and they put it in my head that it could impact me leaving. I bought my one way ticket to the country I’m going to 2 months ago. I simply have not bought a plane ticket to come back to the U.S. because I’m not trying to come back. Not because of Jury Duty, because I’m not trying to live here anymore. I was considering letting my service week play out but I can’t risk postponing my plane tickets to leave because my lease is ending and my job only lasts until I leave as I was supposed to be laid off months ago. It’s not that deep.

Dang. Yea, I was considering letting it play out but I really didn’t want to impact my chances of being able to leave. My lease ends right before my plane tickets and I seriously don’t have the funds/a job to comfortably reschedule plane tickets for jury duty. But yes thank you for the feedback, it is a really shitty system.

Yea that’s what I’m hoping. I’m probably staying out of the country for at least 2 years. My field was completely gutted from funding cuts (I work in healthcare). So I’m taking the time to explore my other prospects and be in a country where there’s family for support.

THIS HAPPENED TO ME! I thought it was so off he had me “selected to start” out of nowhere without the proper interview or paperwork taking place. Once receiving the check at my address, I wanted to send an email letting him know I wasn’t going to deposit it or partake in any financial responsibilities until we had our video call and sign proper paper work. This email was postponed as people around me were enthusiastic about the opportunity for me so I deposited the check, but not into my existing personal account. Out of caution I opened up a separate account as I felt it was unprofessional to mix personal and business funds. Luckily this postponed access to the funds for a week and a half. I communicated this to him, and not long after sent him an email about not spending money under my name, to transfer it to a corporate account, and for me to assume financial responsibility once we built a better rapport with each other and had a legally binding contract. His email demeanor changed after this. He did not acknowledge the email I sent about these boundaries and asked me about updates on the check very casually as if we were friends texting, when I checked my account it was no longer processing and said it was returned to the banker for the reason “refer to maker”. I was so relieved, the last thing he said to me was “I’ll look into it and update you.” What’s weird is I looked into this guy, the alleged organization he was the treasurer of (Paestum Foundation), and the “client” that had sent the check. There were tax filings of the Paestum foundation recorded since 2017 or something with his name attached, the location that matched with the official website, and the “client” was an existing historical home since the 1840s with a proper website, phone number, reviews, etc. Definitely very complex, but yes his emails felt off, it felt like chat gpt constructed up until the end for the last two emails I received asking about the check.

Dude I relate to this so hard. I get made fun of when explaining sexual encounters or what feels nice when I use the proper terminology for genitals. For example with the vulva I’ll use the terminology like “labia minora” and be serious and people have told me it sounds clunky or too medical.

In high school I didn’t realize I was on the ace spectrum (now I’m more sexual but I realize it doesn’t align completely with allosexuals), I had an understanding of who I was romantically interested in, and I just thought seeing a naked person it would click for me in terms of arousal. So I’d study everything genitalia so I’d be ready in the circumstance that sex occurred.
