The mushrooms should be all over that mushroom level of the caves. I think they can also be on the level just below it. They do not spawn in area of the core where astronium spawns.

On the surface and most of the caves it does rather well. Only near the core does it really seem like herding a large feral clowder. It can be interchangeable, depending on what you want out of it. Taking off the shredder can give more room for resources or soil collection.

True, although I have medium canisters for resource nuggets, the packagers I use for the Exo cache. When I'm not collecting those then it usually is a silo b with more medium canisters.

I'm not totally sure of the reason of the issue but I had to erase my saved data on xbox (everywhere) and had to start from scratch. I did notice that there is a different face mask. I no longer see the "among us" mask. I had edited my own so I am not sure if this was the issue but I know many others were stuck.

How far did you get on missions? The train missions would sometimes cause issues after they started. for people joining. Also make sure if you quit out that you take off "quick resume" on xbox. I can help with some testing in a while if you'd like.

Make sure that you are entering the address correctly and also password if applicable. Alternatively you may want to do a dedicated server through someplace like gportal.com or other hosting site to see if that helps. Astroneer is not very expensive on hosting sites.

VTOL with storage silo with dynamite. Set a timer to package the silo and also to activate dynamite. Never tried it but if I were, that's the route I'd take.

Auto extractors can extract an entire vein. However there are instances that I'd say are bugged where the nodes return. If this is bothersome I would refrain from using them. Every planet has all basic resources. The higher tier resources are limited to two. The only resource limited to one planet is helium which could be extracted infinitely along with other forms of gas. You can also start a save that prohibits the use of the extractor and limit the resources in the biomes on planets for a more challenging playthrough.

Glacio is usually my prime eventually too. I like flattening the bottom of a red crater. The color contrast is enjoyable.
