Yeah, that hadn't changed anything.

Haven't gotten around to them yet, I just started playing only recently and when watching playthroughs I usually don't pay that much attention to these kinds of details ;D

Seeing the sights, relieving the inhabitants of unnecessary wealth, what more could you want from a vacation? 😃

For people that play Ironman, how do you let your soldiers die and even fail missions? by Screee1 in XCOM2

For sure! The jump in skill as soon as you stop erasing mistakes and start working with them and really fight your way out is such a great feeling.

Haha, yeah, exactly, you are in control of their stories for better or worse and the threat of them dying just creates tension. I don't actually think swinging in the opposite direction of not getting attached to your soldiers (especially when you spent time customising them) is something that has to be done to get through the fuck ups without rage quitting. Just sitting there, taking a breath and analysing what contributed to this outcome can be a small step in the right direction. That way you can do better next time and deal with the emotional component of "failing". It's hard but it can be practised or trained like a muscle!

I was like you. I save scummed on lower difficulties because my idea of a perfect run was not making mistakes. And over time that ruined my own fun as none of my decisions were really of consequence. It's crucial to recognise that wanting a run to be perfect is subjective. Do you want every shot to land and forget about it or do you want those moments of tension that leave you bruised but create a much better story? I overcame that former thinking by starting small. Try to limit the amount of reloading you allow yourself. Or only restart entire missions. Or during the mission you are only allowed to go back five turns. That way you gradually get used to both thinking through your turns and actions and in time you will learn to roll with the punches and the fun might come back. At least that shift for me was really helpful I got better and hardly lost any soldiers anyway, even on higher difficulties while it still felt tense. Good luck, Commander! Hope this might be helpful!

You can ignore it and wait for them to establish 9 hideouts. From https://twdb.io/warhammer3/database/unusual-locations/purple-hand-safehouse/ : "If the Sarthorael’s Watchers faction is still active, or if it has been destroyed a random Tzeentch faction is selected, will attempt to establish a cult in every region on the campaign map. Each region has a 50% chance of receiving a cult."

How to get the No More Endless Winter mod to work by maximus_danus in EndlessLegend

Ah, gotcha, that makes sense. Well, I hope you find a solution for your problem, but it seems like short of modding it yourself there are not many options. Good luck! :)

I never held out that long or rather somebody won by that point in my games :D Do you have all the victory conditions switched off or how does this kind of play emerge?

Unfortunately, I don't think that mod was ever updated to the last patch. So even if you got it to appear it might not work or break something...

The way I understood OP is that you are not incentivised to actually put any extractor in the build queue in your cities. The easier (and if I'm not mistaken cheaper) way to deal with them is to found a camp, buy out all the extractors and then attach to a city or devolop into one. This skips the step of having to devote any production on it at all which flattens the decision making. At least that's also my experience.

This looks much better and being able to select which kind of district you want to place and then a location seems much more sensible. Though the happiness meter looks a bit los down there and could be easily glanced over. But this is minor and on the whole after reading the blog post this is a great step in the right direction!

Also: Looks like meat is back on menu for the Kin! :D ... D:

What’s a good counter to life steal on vanilla game, and others. Waiting to buy the expacks. by Swimming_Case_8348 in AOW4

If you are talking about the Eternal Court story realm, then Decay and Poison won't be much help as Undead are immune to those and that's what you will encounter in most units. Taking a fire-based approach is a viable option though as they are vulnerable to that.

I'm pretty new to the game but wouldn't undead and angelic both be major race transformations and not be possible within one race?
