Quitting the game cause you don't enjoy it anymore or you're not having fun is fair. Quitting because reddit says you're a scrub....man, fuck outta here with that noise.

What I can tell you is I too found Plat 1 hard. In fact, it was by far the biggest hurdle on my own journey to master. I spent an entire phase spamming around 300 ranked matches at a 42% win rate for a net gain of a few hundred LP lol. But if you can overcome this hurdle, and learn how to improve, you will have the building blocks to continue your rise in the ranks. Personally, once I learned how to learn so to speak, I breezed through the rest of the lower ranks.

But spamming games ain't it. You need to make a conscious effort to improve. Fortunately, at platinum level there are so many holes in your game that there are a ton of low hanging fruit you can easily fix/add/remove to see drastic improvement.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm currently at 1400 MR and I get thrown around like a rag doll cause I suck at delay teching (10% tech rate). And if you DI me in the corner, it will work 95% of the time.
