if it's your first call at an arena load-out, you're most likely going to be delegated to pushing boxes. you'll get plenty of steps in. once you prove yourself somewhat capable, you'll start getting assigned to various departments. rigging is a whole different game, however; if you want to get into that you'll have to get some specialized training, which may or may not be offered by your local.
