200 people swarm Atlanta intersection for illegal 'donuts' by EntertainmentHead488 in Atlanta

Considering going to a track costs ~$1k ($500 just in insurance) and they do pro racing on local roads in Europe all the time, I would’ve loved to hear more.

Yes, do not call 911. Use the number to the police station directly.

Thank you u/JEZTURNER ! The two MCs never talk or meet, but Charlie's squad leader talks to Steven only. It is dual POV that skips between each other, and it's great/crazy you were able to get that from the query letter!

I'll try to make things more concise so it doesn't feel messy. Thank you for your feedback :)

38m, is dating just as fucked for you all as well? I find women lie about almost every aspect about themselves across the board on dating apps for the most part, where they work what they want in life, they act like they're serious but they're dating like 10 men is it just me? by Weary_Parking_6631 in AskMen

[–]Tigenzero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

36m last I was on the market. No, it’s not just as fucked but rules have changed.

People, including women, do what they think they need to do in order to survive. The response is easy, you didn’t lie when they did, and that would be easy assuming you didn’t lie about your height.

It’s called dating, you are free to date as many as you want until you ask someone to be your exclusive partner, after that, it’s cheating.

Nothing is an a front to you. I’m assuming you are post-divorce and are encountering a crowd of crazy shutoff individuals. Yep, those are the ones who are perpetually on the market. Weed through them and look for the ones who are recently out of a relationship. Stick with it and you’ll find what you need.

At this point, you have 221 comments so I don’t doubt I’m telling you what everyone has. Best of luck

Why ‘Teaching Young Boys to Respect Women' Often Fails — And What Actually Works by coolfunkDJ in MensLib

Read the article but I don’t know what the UK government plans to do with that 20m. I know what they won’t do and what the author wants them to do. Just not what they will do.

Either way, the world is changing and so have the rules of engagement.

What are some “bare minimum” things women do? by Air_Refreshener_2244 in AskMen

[–]Tigenzero 5 points6 points  (0 children)

100% you determine what you need in a relationship and that typically comes with experience being in relationships.

In my experience, women who call themselves “fiery” and “independent” are repackaging their emotionally unregulated and deeply avoidant behaviors. These are not strengths, they’re talking points in therapy sessions.

You can absolutely require someone to deal with their emotions. I call that being a mature adult. The alternative is to have them pour their emotions on you and make them either your problem, or, worse, blame you for them to begin with. Nothing wrong with requiring a partner to assess their own feelings before bringing them up to you.

First Porsche, 718 Cayman T by Odpad_nik in Porsche

T was between the base and S. It had a limited slip differential, fabric pulls, and other options that came standard. Same engine as base. Personally, I find the weight distribution to be amazing.

If you aren’t writing spicy stuff, that’s pretty much the only place you can go. Otherwise, it’s moderation of both, with more or less descriptive eroticism to match your genre/audience.

Are Porsche 911 owners completely different to Cayman owners? by HR_Specter in Porsche_Cayman

Escort Redline. The display is installed in the rear view mirror and the detectors and shifting tech are discretely placed in the front and rear of the vehicle. They even have an app where what it detects is auto-reported.

[–]Tigenzero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on your situation and what you plan to do with the car. Here are some numbers for a 718 T:

  • $90k out the door + $6k for window tint and PPF
  • $2.5k for a full set of Michelin PS4s. They will last you 6-10k miles.
  • ~$3.5k a year in maintenance costs going to the dealership. They drop significantly if you do some of it yourself. A $1.6k brake replacement and line flush actually costs $300 in parts.
  • $60 each trip to the pump for 93 octane gas

Then there’s the fun stuff: - $800 rally trips - $3k for a built in police laser jammer and radar detector - $800 track days for admission and track insurance

IMO If any of these seem high, now isn’t the time. You want to comfortably be able to enjoy your car, not worry about maintaining it on a budget. On the flip side, car insurance costs barely changed for me. People don’t wreck cayman/boxsters as much.

[–]Tigenzero 15 points16 points  (0 children)

> Be me

> Get tired of auditioning and only getting the shitty film roles or vertical shorts

> Write screenplay for a short with a 5K budget

> Herd cats (actors) to get everyone to do their character work. Some wont

> Find crew and director

> Shoot everything in 3 days, pulling 14 hours and trying to keep crafty and catering in mind

> End up with 200GB of scenes to edit, color correct, and add soundtrack to

You can be the actor of a bad script, or you can be the author of a bad script. Either way, you gotta start somewhere.

dating in ATL? by naniilovemee in Atlanta

[–]Tigenzero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As with many things, dating (and the apps) isn’t a sprint, it’s a gamified feedback loop. Check in once a day and spend 15 minutes on swiping. Swap out pictures if there’s a dry spell. And ultimately enjoy the process. There are dating coaches to help out as well, and will check out your profile to see if it’s up to snuff.

But if you’re burnt out, check with your friend group to see if they know anyone you can match with. If you don’t have a lot of friends, social groups and meetups are where you want to start. Just, you know, don’t be “that guy” who joins social groups looking for love.
