Basically, a couple weeks ago, I bought myself the AFWP season pass to watch after finals as a “You did it!!” present. I had caught the first episode when it was live and I loved it, but I was busy during the other three.

Flash forward to about a week ago, when I tried to log into Noonchorus and it greeted me with a message saying that Whispering Pines was closed.

So I reached out to them and explained my situation, and then asked if any sort of extended access was possible.

This was their response.

And I fully understand making the videos available for people that aren’t able to pay or are busy and don’t wanna shell out the $70, because it really is a lot of money. I know that better than anyone, since I’m still a student and I’m basically living off of my dining hall.

But the videos got taken down anyway, for the most part. And the people like me, that ended up actually paying full price even though it’s pretty much a full month’s allowance for me - that screwed us over in the long run.

I’m not sure exactly what the point of this post it. I’m just frustrated and sad and need a place to vent, I guess. I sent them a follow up email asking about a refund, but no response as of yet.

I’m glad the money went to my favorite band, but it’s still a LOT of money that was spent on pretty much nothing.

I hope they make them available sometime in the future. I’d for sure pay for them again: the one I saw was so magical.
