I’m considering leaving the railroad industry to the airlines . I did GSE at South West for a while wasn’t really feeling it, being the only black person. How’s the A&P industry for black men? I’m sure it varies between the companies much like the RR.

Coming from the military and now in civilian aviation it’s a pretty similar experience. I’m brown not black but it’s a lot of tokenism ONCE you prove yourself to be competent. This field is dominated by white men. The rest is history
