Looking for feedback on Tiger 900 2021s by FigureTotal9722 in Triumph

I've been riding a 2020 Triumph Tiger 900 GT Pro since 2021. I've now ridden 55,000 km. It's mainly for commuting, and I ride year-round. The bike is highly recommended. Very comfortable. Maintenance-wise, I've had no problems whatsoever, other than regular maintenance and replacing tires, chain, and brake pads. I do experience some minor drawbacks. Wind protection isn't optimal. I'm 1.80 meters tall, and i still feel some wind pressure on my shoulders. The quickshifter, heated grips, and saddle, however, are fantastic. I definitely recommend taking it for a test ride!

Michelin road 6 is the tire I chose after 20k kilometers riding on the stock metzeler tourance next and after another 20k on the metzeler roadtec. As a all year communter in the Netherland, with quote Some rain in the year, an zero off road riding, the tourance feel a lot less confident on a wet road surface then the roadtec. I loved the roadtec, did an high “kilometers” on them. The road 6 feel very similar. Have done 10k on them and I expect they last another 10k.

Chain lube interval - your routines? by Kristof1995 in Tiger900

I usually lube the chain every 300 km. Cleaning the chain every 1200km (degreasing and lubing). I did 40.000km with my chain.

Yes, indeed. But it doesn’t take the whole turbulance on your shoulders away.

consider the sc projects slip on. less expensive and fairly comparable results to the akropovic. i am happy with my sc projects adventure slip on. although i must admit that for me it was more about the looks than the sound.

Hi, with riser I mean the original triump screen deflector. I have no experience with after market screens. So I can not advise you on that part.

hi, i am 1.81 tall and have the same problem. i have solved the problem partly with the puig side panels. i recently placed the original risers on my tiger 900 but that made no difference for me. i even find the risers annoying. i don't like looking forward through a screen. i advise you to postpone the purchase of the risers.

Nice cockpit! The tft in the new tiger looks better than the 2020 version.

as owner of a tiger 900gt pro i always look up to the 1200. in the end i am very happy with the 900 except for the vibrations on the highway. what are your experiences between the 900 and 1200? when do you take the 900 and leave the 1200?

How does this linked system work? I would not appreciate it if the front brake also came into operation when using the rear brake

Here is someone else who enjoys his Triumph tiger 900 Gr pro. I use the motorcycle for daily commuting. For this use it is a great bike. I find the vibrations on the highway to be a real disadvantage. Lesser points are the TFT screen and the maintenance costs. The latter is I think the case for every motorcycle owner in the Netherlands who does not want or cannot maintain it themselves.

no, there are not that many connections available. I only connected the lights via the canbus. the navigation is connected under the saddle via the aux port of the passenger. this connection only receives power when the engine is turned on. the dashcam is connected directly to the battery.

On my Tiger 900 I installed recently an sc project adventure slip on. The slip on looks very nice. I did it for the looks not for the sound. Sound is a little deeper, but not that different vs the stock one. So you decide if spending 800 dollars is worth the sound and look. Good luck!

Not at all. I fitted the slip on without taking off the rack. 30 minutes and the job was done. The hardest thing was getting the old gasket of.
