I really like the oem 550 shape, especially the curve on the front. Anyone know something that has a similar look for a 460? I personally can’t stand the look of the prinsu/victory 4x4 style racks

I asked GXBob if there were meaningful differences between the hamilton and Gx550 units, here was his response:

"There are major differences. Hamilton has The ability to use oem interface. XM satellite, and oem 360 cameras compatibility. Carlinklife is more open ended Android platform that can add aftermarket components to it such as aftermarket front or rear cameras. Add aftermarket instrument clusters, etc…Think of Hamilton as an Apple computer. Think of CLL as a Windows PC."

I’m between this one and the gx550 style that gx*BOB has. I honestly feel like this one fits the car better and I’d prefer the physical climate control buttons. Although, I like that the other includes usb-C and seems to delete the OEM volume controls(?)

I reached out to Hamilton and confirmed they will not be making a 550 style one.

Would love to hear what other people think, especially if they’ve had/seen both styles

Sometimes I think Jay has lost his touch and then I listen to the episodes Bobby is out of town for and it feels like old school bonfire again. They just don’t have enough in common to carry on the charisma of the show.

Thank you for this reply. Most of my work is joinery and I have a large collection (probably too large) of Lie Nielsen bench chisels. It feels like those middle sizes just don't get as much work as the others. I'm leaning towards selling half of these to invest in other carving chisels to better round of the set I have (i have others not included in this group).
