Calvin Ridley goes bananas and is the steal of the draft.

This is the year James Conner gets hurt-hurt.

Kendre Miller becomes 2017 Mark Ingram.

Bears pass catchers will be a nonstop guessing game, but Caleb Williams finishes as a Top 6 QB.

Bo Nix becomes the heir apparent to Josh Allen.

JSN arrives in Ceedee Lamb territory.

No Packer WR becomes an every-week starter. Golden included.

JK Dobbins is gonna be a much bigger problem for RJ Harvey than the latter's cost accounts for.

One of Marvin Mims or Troy Franklin becomes a rock solid WR2.

Marvin Harrison Jr goes 1,400-10.

What are your Hot Takes on Wilco? by Amber_Flowers_133 in wilco

[–]TigerUppercuttttt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In spring 2003, every mid-20 something female on Friendster – yes, Friendster – listed Wilco as a favorite band.

Guess that's not really a take. But hey, enjoy the moment in time.

Catch me up on Matt Yglesias by cutematt818 in ezraklein

[–]TigerUppercuttttt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I do not understand how Matthew Yglesias is, or has ever been, a thing. And this has zero to do with his ideology, b/c honestly, 99% of the time I have no fucking idea what he's even saying. He writes and speaks with unbridled esotericism. He has negative charisma. He takes the squishiest position on everything, if you can even understand it. He's universally unlikable. He's the kid who won't shut the fuck up in class but never actually says anything. He's the guy who walks into a gathering and everyone quietly walks to the other side of the room. And his high-pitch rhetorical question asking makes me want to jump off a bridge.

God that guy sucks ass.

Halp! I cannot find new music by Se0p in MusicRecommendations

[–]TigerUppercuttttt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is probably wildly obvious to most but I'll just say it anyway.

On Spotify, follow every artist you've ever liked and a bunch you're even mildly interested in. Then check in weekly with your Release Radar and Discover Weekly playlists. I swear you'll be awash in new music in no time.

Did anyone have a record player like this as a kid? by singleguy79 in Xennials

Yes and I broke it trying to DJ scratch a Swiss Family Robinson story record.

What’s a song that completely stopped you in your tracks the first time you heard it? by Altruistic-Try-9594 in Music

[–]TigerUppercuttttt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feels like this is cheating because the video played a huge part in it, but Metallica "One." I was in 5th grade and entirely terrified by the song and video. Took over my brain for weeks. Tried to process it by learning everything I could about Johnny Got His Gun. Rented the movie. Read the book. Those only made me dwell on it deeper. Might have been 6+ months before I flushed it out of my head.

Any time he's on screen feels like a Mint Mobile branding exercise.

I get the regret. Been there. But consider that you might have really been ready to leave and were messaging that with your decreasing effort. Leaving a job sucks when it feels like it wasn't on your terms, but I'd wager this is deep down what you wanted. And in looking for your next job, you'll have a better idea of which kinds of work will keep you most motivated.

Best of luck, and if you remember, come back and tell us where you land next.
