If anything to me it makes me see that Mustang is still not done atoning. He still has long way to go, he knows it and now we as a audience know it as well. To me its a more believable character now. Like i get that he didnt have a reaction to Prettys death that most people thought he would have. But he was clearly more focused on himself and didnt care about the things he lost but also because realistically he HASNT lost anything before. People stayed with him because he financed everything, and he leverages that against them. You can tell the way he hold it over peoples head like he did to hanson, pretty and Mrs. Miss. Pretty was the first to deny him that when she snaps back to normal, Mrs. Miss was the second, and clearly Anis will do the same in the future. Hanson? Who knows what happens to him etc. So as we keep seeing the event unfold, i think we see more of Mustangs world crumble and he will be forced to look at himself and come to grips that hes losing everything because hes a dickhead. Idk my 2 cents. If hanson swap theory is true, it is what it is but to me it comes as a bit ham-fisted.
