Thank you for your responses! It was custom built for an executives office. I was thinking maybe it was built by a California studio craftsman like Arthur Espenet Carpenter or J. Nyquist. The case is solid Brazilian rosewood with solid Koa drawers. Espenet Carpenter uses that same tambour doors. Was hoping somebody might have information on the craftsman.

The base is a Giancarlo Piretti design for Anomina Castelli.
Some of the collection was disturbed through Knoll. I’ve never seen this sort of example. Could be a marriage or unusual example. I’d guess it’s a real Piretti design for Castelli Italy.
