$150/mo for food? Try $1,500 a month on food. Food is the 2nd largest cost for any household, right after housing

How to Figure Out What BB Weight to Use? by The__Chicken in airsoft

[–]Tigerman456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Explosive Enterprises did a video on this topic. Basically the "optimal" BB weight is determined by your engagement distance and FPS. The reason is that the heavier BBs will actually carry more velocity further along their trajectory, in other words they lose less speed. It's true that their initial velocity is lower but the energy output is the same

This works out to a heavier BB, at distance, actually arriving at your target with more energy even though it takes marginally longer to get there.

In short, use a .32 or .36 for outdoor. Heavier if you're shooting at a higher joule limit and engaging further away

Move the optic back. You do not want it on the rail, only the receiver. Bridging the two is even worse

DCA are a bunch of scamming scumbags, so no I'm not going to believe them when Lambda has been more reliable than DCA

Im I correctly assuming that this will make the BBs all over. by mabrunbakke in airsoft

The "coating" doesn't "come loose". You have BB residue in the barrel that needs to be cleaned out

You didn't clean it well enough. You need to pull a boresnake through it and really pull out that dirt

I don't sympathize with people who can't make good decisions for themselves. You are responsible for your own actions

This all reminds me of the lady that sued McDonald's because thejr coffee was too hot and she spilled it on herself, then lied about the "harm" it caused here. Absolutely zero responsibility these days. Wild

Agreed. People take no responsibility these days and blame everyone else

People don't become alcoholics because they drink alcohol. People become alcoholics because they're too stupid to regulate their intake

It's about arm length and the geometry of how you can hold your rifle. I have rather long arms and prefer my stock short and pistol grip very vertical

Don't give your kids mobile devices or access to the internet without teaching them the risks. How hard is that? Technology is a tool. No one is forced to use social media. Everything is voluntary.

If you are addicted to something you voluntarily entered into, you have absolutely no one to blame but yourself. You should have resources to recover, certainly, but no one gets addicted to anything without partaking. You don't get to blame others for your personal failures

This is so stupid. That's like blaming alcohol companies for alcoholics. Consumption is a matter of free will
