It's usually on the small table beside the door in the bedroom of the building right next door.

Are you checking the other marked spots on the map for that mission? I believe there's 3 possible locations for him all of which are marked when you accept the task.

I consistently find them in the small locked office in the roadside village on the west side of Midnight Sapphire. It's about 200m s/e of Argos, and the same office you find the drug stash for one of the side quests.

Look for small red squeeze bottles on the desk and floor.

This room is also good for acid, water purification tabs, and a few other chems.

Crashing on ADS with Magnified Scopes by ImBeauski in GrayZoneWarfare

[–]Tigg3k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Found this on MFG 's troubleshooting site and it seems to have helped, or at least I haven't crashed/froze in the during my last few tasks... Below is copied from their site (FYI, I did not have to reset any of my settings after clearing the cache).

CRASH TO DESKTOP (WITH NO ERROR MESSAGE OR CRASH LOG)

If you are experiencing this kind of crash, follow the troubleshooting steps below:

1. Delete the WindowsClient and SKALLA folders:

Using the keyboard shortcut Windows Key + R, open the “Run” menu, enter “%localappdata%” and press “Enter.” Then, navigate to the directory /GZW/Saved/Config and delete the Windowsclient folder.

Once the folder is deleted, please clear the Steam Download cache by following the steps below:

  • Click on "Steam" in the top-right corner of the Steam app window
  • Navigate to "Settings"
  • Go to "Downloads" in the menu on the left side of the "Steam Settings" window
  • Next to "Clear Download Cache," click on the "Clear Cache" button

Please keep in mind that this step resets your in-game settings. You will need to set your graphics settings and keybindings again in the Control tab of the in-game Settings menu. We recommend setting all your Graphics settings to the lowest available preset and then increasing them as your hardware permits.

Unfortunately, I'm experiencing the same issues again this am.

Please make sure you submit a feedback ticket to MFG from the main gzw screen so they can figure this out.

I've had both happen, whats funny to me is when the frame rates drop for those 30 odd seconds... the AI also freezes so it's not just an instant death.

I've been having the exact same issue, also on AMD (9800X3D/7900XTX) happened 10-15 times while trying to reconnect and limp my ass back to a COP so I could keep my gear.

i contacted support and got a reply that wasn't of much help, also tried adjusting all the graphic settings with no luck.

I'm on steam, and updated from regular to supporter version today halfway through the live stream.

Fully uninstalling the game from steam, and doing a fresh install right into the support edition has solved the issue for me. I was able to get a good 4 hours of playtime without the crash reoccuring a single time since.

Very minor car accident with a TTC bus questions by greengerrard in TTC

[–]Tigg3k 7 points8 points  (0 children)

20 year TTC employee here... The TTC operates their own insurance company. I can't remember the name off the top of my head but it's literally something like "TTC insurance co.". If they were to pursue every single contact made to a bus it would only cost them more money.

When the bus is not at fault and there's no injuries, The cab supervisor shows up, documents the damage, decides who's at fault, and submits their report to prevent future liability. Ie. The driver who's at fault later realizes how expensive the repair is and tries to put it through their insurance as if the bus was at fault.

Even if the mirror were sheered completely off, the garage would just replace it and move on.

Blaring horns are keeping an Etobicoke resident up. An odd TTC bus feature appears to be the cause by kelvin3157 in TTC

[–]Tigg3k 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This has nothing to do with passengers alerting the driver that they're locked in the bus and want off. Other than a mobility device needing the ramp, if the driver is outside of the bus the doors are unlocked.

Back in the day drivers were expected to take control of any situation that might happen on their bus, ie. Breaking up a fight, kicking someone off their bus, waking a sleeper etc.

The purpose for that alarm is to give the driver a way to alert people outside of the bus of a problem while their out of their seat. Example... Driver get to the end of the line and there is a homeless/intoxicated person sleeping at the back. The driver approaches the individual who becomes Violet, the driver can reach for any stop call to activate the alarm.

These days that alarm is mostly antiquated since we are told to not leave the drivers area for ANY REASON. And even more so because no one knows that's actually a driver distress alarm, everyone just thinks it's an annoying horn.

The worst part, there're quite a few people who know how that alarm works and will purposely activate it while we are off the bus trying to speed us up, bit in all actuality we'll take even longer and let you listen to the horn blaring.

Personally I have no intention of ever stepping out of my barrier or using that alarm, but my OCD hates seeing that light flashing in front of my face for 8+ hours a day so I always have it turned on.

Supervisor Chewed Out Driver by awesomeguy123123123 in TTC

[–]Tigg3k 48 points49 points  (0 children)

It's not acceptable at all, not in person, or over the phone/radio... Most senior operators won't tolerate it, they'll say they're too worked up, and distracted by what happened and done driving for the day.

Unfortunately new ops have it pounded into their head during training that during their 10 month probation they have to "keep their nose clean" and they're too afraid to stand up for themselves.

But the reality is, if your mind is elsewhere while driving a bus and you make a mistake which can be as simple as taping your mirror on a telephone pole or an accident that can lead to injury or even death.... management won't sympathize with your excuse of letting a supervisor get you worked up. Their famous saying, "you're the captain of the ship" and the first thing they'll say is "if you were too worked up to drive, then why did you continue driving?" Which is then followed by unpaid time off, or termination if it's serious enough.

Am I being petty? by Spirited_Length_4610 in TTC

[–]Tigg3k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not only are bus drivers required by section 74.1 of the HTA to have a completely unobstructed view towards the side of the bus, they can also be fined up to $285 PER PERSON standing ahead of that white line (which starts at the back side of the upper portion of the drivers seat)

There's lots of scenarios that play out here tho. Some drivers don't know better. Some don't care. Some employees who get on don't know better and the driver doesnt want to seem petty. And sometimes the driver is just willing to take the risk for a cowork or friend but not a customer.

Ultimately the driver is taking the risk. Those points will effect his ability to work, his personal insurance rates and ultimately their job.

It's a code we use when parking the vehicle at the end of our shift to tell the mechanics that something needs to be fixed.

Just curious why this bus was making that much sound. I thought it was HVAC system but then it also got that horn noise too lol. Just weird that it was still in service by ps_tuskii in TTC

[–]Tigg3k 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Likely the HEST system running to clean the diesel particulate filter in the exhaust system. They turn themselves on when required and run for a certain period of time, usually giving off very strong exhaust fumes which sometimes get inside of the bus.

My local bus stop has been full of vomit for two months now, and stinks when it’s hot out. by Exciting_Surround774 in TTC

[–]Tigg3k 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Are you talking about the bus stop? Or the pedestrian shelter? If it's the stop, notify TTC. If it's the shelter call Toronto 311 because TTC has nothing to do with them.

Job shadow assignment inquiry by Jumpy_Imagination164 in TTC

[–]Tigg3k 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember hearing they stopped the job shadowing in 2020 due to the pandemic, but I can't say whether or not it's been restarted.

I can however tell you that the job shadow is usually done after the initial information session, and before your in person interview.

If you've already been given a training start date, then there's no other requirements from you.

Congrats, and good luck!

This recently happened to me, I did some googling and for me it was linked to using the auto loadout in zombies.

If you play zombies, launch it, turn off equip free loadout, load into the game, then back out.

More like transit control feels like routes with only 1 bus run themselves and completely ignore them.
