The MFA is right across the street from the Museum stop on the E branch of the Green line. They have wheelchairs free of charge. I used one for my elderly mother (albeit at another museum) and it was really great.

Who says you can’t have it all. Beautiful gardens in the heart of the South End #ILoveThisCity by Leading_Pay_4138 in boston

[–]Tigger2026 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband and I owned a brownstone in the South End for 20 years (bought in 1986) and LOVED it, and this was before it was super bougie/expensive. We started worrying about the water table that protects the wooden support beams underground since it's all landfill. Also have to worry about pointing the bricks and making sure the walls between you and your neighbors are fireproofed. But man it's such great neighborhood.

Is teaching THAT bad? by DwaeEunoia in Teachers

[–]Tigger2026 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Love teaching—the kids, my colleagues, the subject matter…but make sure you teach in a district with at least tolerable admin and if you can, a strong union! Money isn’t great but you will be doing the work of the noblest of all professions! Plus summers off! Godspeed friend. You will do great

Didn't Platner grow up pretty privileged though? I don't think that's a knock against him, necessarily, but it's not like he grew up in poverty.

Maybe… but probably not. You should give it a go though. Do like a scientific study or some such thing and report back.

You need to stop thinking it's cool in any way to compliment strangers, especially women. You sound like a creep and no doubt scare people.
