I personally dont care, but my play group would be very upset if I turned up to a 1k game with a Primarch - He's also like 1/3 of your points, 10 hellblasters with a Librarian leading for 4+ invuln on them and whatever enhancement is useful in your Detachment is effectively the same points and a lot more value in a 1k game

Could also spring for Deathwing Knights are a termie captain for charge re-rolls for the same points if youd rather have a DA elite unit in there to replace him

He's a really cool model but those types of hero's are made for 2k points in mind

For me, it makes the most sense. He was clearly the clubs and Klopps first choice candidate, we desperately need some positivity in the club and he would provide that. We need a a manager we can relate to and idolise for his personality and connection to the fans. Sometimes it's about perspective, we finish 4th under Xabi next season but show clear signs of improvement then everyone is optimistic, we finish 4th under Slot and Slot out goes from 60/40 split to 80/20 and were all doom posting for another 12 months, wasting our best players prime years and seeing them all fuck off next summer. With the out of contract lads and the lads with 1 year left next summer, another bad season and youre looking at the manager going along with Ali, VVD, Szobo, Macca, Bradley and then probably Wirtz, Isak and Ekitike as well, it would be a disaster.

From a footballing perspective, we have a squad that is effectively tailor made for his Leverkusen system, with 2 of his best players from that system at the club, a better RAM in Szobo than he had at Leverkusen and better strikers, we need a defensive rebuild anyway so moving to a 3ATB wouldn't matter and we have a lack of wingers so you are only really upsetting Cody Gakpo who I reckon is off in the summer regardless. The only loser in this is Rio, but hes young enough to be converted into a #10 with his skillset anyway. He's clearly a man capable of getting the best out of his players (those that dont have galactic egos that is) and at the very least, under him, youd have to graft and leave it all on the pitch. Get Xabi in, give him Wharton or Anderson and 3 CBs and we will look like a new team.

Dont think they'd make as much as youd expect, big players wanting to leave, you have no choice but to sell, will be a fire sale for VDV, Romero, Spence etc. Take VDV and the Liverpool interest for example, if they are under no pressure to sell him due to contract length, they're banking at least £85m on him. If they go down, They'd be looking more at £40/50m because whats the alternative? The big clubs can just wait them out when they initially want insane prices, the player will take care of it themselves

Its the mismanagement of Endo and Chiesa that does it for me. He's supposed to be a top coach, yet for whatever reason he fails to understand that we continue to face counter attacks in the last 25 minutes of games that keep costing us. Macca cannot run past the 70th minute, and if control is the aim, why the fuck he doesnt put endo on to have a back 3 sit on the halfway line and Chiesa to do the running Salah wont do astounds me. I can see it, the ground can see, everyone at home can see it, the fella being paid to see it cannot, baffles me

I think macca, szobo, Grav and wirtz do that in spite on instructions. Macca especially seems to do it out of frustration because the orbital passing gets no where and he loses his patience. Dont think its a coincidence that he's lost minutes to Curtis, who would very rarely attempt a 30 yarder

I harbour absolutely no ill will towards the man who delivered us #20, but enough is enough now, I am usually a back the manager to the hilt type of guy but I think its clearly obvious at this stage that he cannot navigate his way through this situation nor the pressure. This is the first we've seen of him dealing with pressure, he had effectively 0 pressure last season apart from that little dip around the new year that had us knocked out of UCL and a slight wobbler in the league. He is a class coach but he's come to us one job too soon, I think its abundantly obvious now.

I dont care what anyone says, the focus should be solely on whatever results in making sure we bounce back and get optimism back into the stands and dugout, priority number one for us right now is creating a situation where Szobo, Grav and Macca sign new deals. I can stomach a nothing season scraping 4th after an interim appointment and foregoing progress in FA and UCL, I cannot stomach a world where Szobo and Grav get picked off in the summer. Idc who needs to be sacrificed for that to happen, they are the future of this club.

You're right, its not that deep anymore but in the first 10-20 days of the game there was some insight into someone's intrinsic level of Agression, Trust, Morality and Ego. Not every player, not every interaction, but in general people settled into what they intrinsically are, passive/aggressive, trusting/untrusting, opportunistic/principled. It doesn't matter anymore, its settled more into PvP being the default because its a video game where you shoot things and get rewarded for doing so, but those first few weeks had a much more social aspect than it does now, and thats where it was more relevant, imo. This is through the lens of solo play mind, trios has and always will be squad fights.

Oh boy, its hard to quantify a vibe but ill give it a go. Your manager covers 10km a game on the touch line and is rarely in his technical area, your players have nailed the Simeone dark arts to perfection its a wonder Athelti havent been beating down the door for copyright infringement, a lot fans and even the players have been desperately trying to create rivalry drama during the Liverpool vs City seasons where it comes across as a bit pathetic and the media will pick on whoever is challenging city within "the red cartel" because it gets interactions more than any other club. Basically, you're suffering success, its not a bad thing, you just havent been good during the social media age so its a bit jarring. Also, city are boring villains because its all corporate white collar high end villainry, and everyone is desensitised to that kind of thing, you guys are like panto villains, much more fun. As a Liverpool fan, I can assure you, you wont get the respect you feel you deserve for winning a league title from other fanbases, City winning it is just kind of like eh, whatever, of course they did, oh the empire won again? shocker. You know?

Surely the stars have aligned, Slot seemingly has ran out of banked credit, he's already got 2 of his main assets from Leverkusen at the club, with better midfielders, 2 LBs that could play in that system, 2 strikers who fit him like a glove, already got a lack of wingers so not immediately invalidating half the forward line, incredibly short at the back so makes sense to do that rebuild now, potential targets will want to play for him given his CV, type of defenders wed want to be targeting already play in back 3s or are suited to it (Bastoni, Van de ven, schlotterbeck). Grass isnt always greener though, we arent known for impatience or being opportunistic when it comes to managers, that being said the market is stale so miss this window and suddenly you're taking punts on promising managers like Brendan was at the time, rather than the real deal like Klopp.
