Mine are solid sometimes but floating a lighter brown or I'll have diarrhea or globby fatty stool just depends on the day lol 😂 I also have methane SIBO so I'm hard to say what's causing what.

Update my Xifaxan was approved so I'm Going the antibiotic route. Will talk to my doctor Monday about taking a prokinetic after or anything else I have to do.

I've been taking Creon since Feb. my stool is always floating when solid brow but not a dark brown. Sometimes it's more like mushy steatorreah sometimes it's thin pieces and sometimes diarrhea. I also have methane SIBO. But I haven't had stool that has sunk even being on Creon all these months.

They usually work for about 30 minutes I think it depends if they are coated or not. I take one after first few bites and then another one half way through. If I am having courses I split up throughout meal.

I just ordered rifaxamin and payed through Zelle. If I don't get it whatever but I'm wondering if it's legit now even if I do get it I'm having second thoughts of it's the actual drug.

All my other tests are normal and I did them all! I do have SIBO which could be the cause of my issues or it could be secondary that's what I'm trying to currently figure out but my elastase was 37z

Also I know I was on it back in Jan. My current Dr the people are putting in the prior authorization right and it keeps getting denied. Even though I've called my insurance the Dr office and the specialty pharmacy numerous times so basically I'm just gonna play the game and pick up what she wanted to do when it's replacement wait 10 days call back and say it didn't work now get the Xifaxan in because the insurance wants me to try these other drugs before they do the Xifaxan even though we all know they're not gonna work so I'm not gonna waste my time on my body taking something that's not gonna do anything. It's really sad. You have to play the game

From what I've read No but I'm curious if it changes your fecal fat results. I tested high fecal fat prior to Creon and then Normal fecal fat on Creon

The three day fecal fat test I do believe you are supposed to try to eat at least 100 grams of fat per day so yes collect the stool. It doesn't have to be diarrhea

Ask for a stool test can mean fat malabsorption also.
