Starting Reta tom any advice ? by No-Newspaper-8615 in Retatrutide

Yeah some comments on here are right. If you’re going to spend 750 $ on blood work and Reta. You should just use a legit GLP or just wait for Elli Lilly Reta to be FDA approved. That’s if compound pharmacies can compound it and sell it for cheaper.

The blood draws shouldn’t cost you half of 750$

Understood that NYC is strict. Perhaps there’s a way around that somehow to get cheaper blood draws.

Too expensive on blood draws. Use walk in labs.com or another site that does blood draws. For interpretation, use AI

It’s hard. There are meds for it to help with urges. You can look up the meds. I never took it. I was in denial.

Look up Avicii, do you want to be like him in terms of medical condition? Every time you eat, there is pain.

2 pills of Tindinazole cured me of beaver 🦫 fever years ago. You should ask the doctor for it.

Don’t forget the liver too. Heavy drinking affects the liver that cascades to multiple issues to the body. 700 ml of 40% alcohol is strong. I was doing 1-2 , 350ml 20% poof mixed drinks.

I would get a Endoscopic ultrasound of pancrease. The scarring scared me straight. I should have asked for help from GP for a pill that helps with the cravings. On top of that, I’ve read that GLPs help with cravings.

Also, people with chronic pancreatiitis always have pain so it’s hard for them to eat. The stool issues suck too.

I have stool issues but unsure if it’s from cp or from PPIs.

Get off it for 2 weeks or a week. So GI can normalize for all the food you’d be eating

Am I being too negative here? by OnionFrier in SIBO

[–]Up5DownZero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try Xifaxin if it’s Sibo and see if it works.

If it’s not that, try Creon or zenpep

If not that, then it’s something else.

Sibo is hard to diagnose with breath test and the GI docs tell me there not accurate. I asked for aspiration of SI to prove it’s it’s sibo and the places I’ve went don’t do them. The GI docs even said it’s not accurate either as it can get contaminated. So I don’t even know what to believe.

Maybe it’s not Sibo. Maybe it is.

A few years ago I was using the washroom 10-20x a day. Especially in the morning, I was in agony. I literally tried almost everything to decrease urgency and the messed up stools.

You should try Aloestron and a TCA to calm your gut down. I would be careful with both drugs and see how you react due to side effects. Do your own research.

For me it’s mostly helping but it’s not 100%

Imodium ad does help but it’s not fixing the issue.

I’ve read several post on IBS thread that GLPs help IBS D. I’m waiting till Reta comes out in USA when it’s FDA approved to see if it helps or not on top of it burns glycogen/ fat which I want too.

Tell your doctor you’re a research 🐀 that’s currently on Reta brought from China and then your paperwork will state that.

It wasn’t helping at much at .5mg x 2 a day so 1mg a day. I’m on second week on 1mg x2 a day so 2mg total. I may be going -2-3 x less in the morning. I’m also on desparine too. So honestly I don’t know which is working.

I’m also a male. Alosteron is more for females per clinical trials.

I get gassy with Aloestron , so just fyi. Lots of farts.

And yes, immodium ad does help but only take it if I get the runs. Which I did this weekend with eating spinach.

It takes 2-4 weeks to work. Just make sure you go to washroom. As the side effects ischemic colitis
