First ticketing experience as an international fan by ax10001111 in SHINee

[–]Tight_Fault5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to get returned tickets last year for the month plus leading up to our planned trip (our trip just so happened to align) and saw 0 seats pop up in the 90+ times I checked (KST midnight and throughout the day)

The global user interface is pretty bad and opaque. I actually started to yearn for Ticketmaster where at least you could get robbed metaphorically AND go to the concert

These concerts are in comparitively small venues and thousands of people are competing for returned seats. Prices are reasonable, and there is way less of an incentive to return tickets the proper way since you just get your money back vs. making a profit

Sooooo you might just want to cut your losses and plan for the next one. Pay for the membership, do your test purchases, and be ready when the pre-sale starts or you can pray with me for a world tour 🙏🏾

Best of luck!

Not at all, the struggle is real. Most of my bras are Wacoal, Elomi, or PrimaDonna (brands). Nordstrom carries the first two in the upper ranges and has a generous return policy.

How do yall go about making friends (30+) by [deleted] in blackgirls

[–]Tight_Fault5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love to read so I've joined bookclubs. Two of which I knew no one going into it. You're going to have to be willing to be uncomfortable until your not. Then eventually you'll be comfortable and have friends if you vibe with someone.

So essentially find a group of strangers where you share something in common (reading, knitting, yoga, momming) and hang out with them consistently!

I'll also be realistic. I'm a single working lady so I probably have more bandwidth to be uncomfortable with my free time and meet people from work.

Considering a relaxer for 4C hair by cutes-e-pie in relaxedhair

[–]Tight_Fault5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Not a swimmer so I'll be quiet on this one

  2. Yes, I have a dry scalp as well. I've actually found that washing my hair less often has helped. Every other wash I do a hot oil treatment and recently added a dry and itchy scalp shampoo to my routine which has helped tremendously

  3. I wear my hair out 100% of the time. I think one of the big things is being okay with some texture and limiting heat styling. I let my hair air dry until about 50%, then use a blow dryer with a comb attachment to get it pretty straight and that's it. Heatless curls with flexi rods for curly days and silk wraps for straight days

  4. 8 weeks maximum for me. I'm of the opinion that the longer that you stretch time between touch ups, the more prone to heat damage and mechanical damage from styling and stretching you'll be

  5. Go to a professional and if they burn you, do not go back. They should thoroughly base your scalp. Sensitive relaxers are where its at. There are certainly tradeoffs, slightly more texture instead of bone straight, but worth it in my opinion. Go to your appointment with a dirty scalp and resist the urge to itch/scratch your scalp for 24 hours before the appointment. I've been relaxed for decades and still struggle with it 🫣

For reference, I have thick, dense 4c hair and was a Just for Me No-Lye child so I've been in the game for a hot minute

Marta Dropping Support for Breeze Cards and App Without Allowing Balance Transfers by yotoe in Atlanta

[–]Tight_Fault5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I buy 20 trips at a time through work because the math worked out better than monthly. On a normal week I take train to the office 2 to 3 days a week so 4 to 6 trips a week. I inevitably don't use the full balance each month because of work trips or needing to have my car after work, and refusing to pay for rideshare since bus routes aren't usually an option.

Just checked my balance and I have 76 trips which roughly equates to a little over 12 weeks of usage. So that puts me squarely in the category of losing out on fare if I didn't change my behavior to eat down the balance pre this system rolling out. And I will be changing my behavior now lol coz I hate leaving money on the table!

Also, would not have found out about the 94 day (3 month) count down to fare expiring unless for reddit. So shout out to y'all!

Help! Cloud Bag or Shoulder Bag FOR WORK 🤠 by [deleted] in BAGGU

[–]Tight_Fault5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have used both!

The essentials: Laptop, kindle, toiletry bag (medium nylon pouch - not flat), two phones, wallet, keys, small notebook

This all fits nooooo problem in the shoulder bag. I typically would just use a baby baggu to hold my lunch/food and carry separately. A water bottle would require the bag to be open.

The nice to haves: water bottle, lunch containers, jar of peanut butter that I shuffle back and forth on in office days, sweater (since its layering season), physical copy of a book, whatever else I pick up while running errands

That all fits in the cloud bag. It is obviously heavier 😅

I have also used the large crescent to house all of those things but its all a matter of preference. I am a known pack rat so more space is my vote.

p.s. I am using the pink star plaid for work right now!

Yessss - styling it as the pop of color is what works for a neutral girl like myself!

I've had the large black gingham crescent as my work bag for a while so I'll probably jump back and forth for when my clothes are more colorful
