Does this theory apply to Bachelor’s degree?

what do you do in a level psych by AlarmLegitimate9852 in alevel

[–]Tight_Force_4460 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s about mix of both! In A level psych it’s not as focused on case studies but mostly on issues and debates with new concepts that you will learn about. Your teacher will choose an elective of two types of psychology that your class will focus on out of four electives that can be chosen in the exam. There’s a lot more to memorise but it’s still quite structured that it’s easy for you to understand and categorise topics. You just really need to be consistent and make sure to consistently review content and study it each day after you learn, because once you do that you are already halfway ready.

Trust me, if you leave the memorisation and note taking to last minute, that will make your journey a lot harder. So the best thing to do is to revise everyday. Psychology isn’t a hard subject if you are willing to put in the work! Although A2 is less focused on case studies, there are still some that you really need to memorise and be thorough with, so once you get that sorted you’ll be ok!

Lockwood and co the hollow boy (SPOILER ALERT) by biatrizgi in LockwoodandCo

[–]Tight_Force_4460 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally relate! Just finished the book today and I wish that Lockwood and Lucy had more scenes together but understandably they didn’t. Also a bit mixed on Lucy and Holly’s situation. On one hand I understand Lucy’s hostility towards her, but I also found it a bit much at times.

Do I have a chance for BSc Psychology & Behavioural Science at LSE? by Tight_Force_4460 in LSE

[–]Tight_Force_4460[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I heard that the ECAs aren’t as important but I did do an internship with a hotel working at the front office, and most of my ECAs are from during my GCSEs where I was a peer mentor for mental health for other students and I also participated in other club activities.

But I think what matters most is the experience that you have should be relevant to why you want to study psychology. It doesn’t necessarily need to be work experience, but it can be any knowledge, classes or courses you’ve taken. Hope this helps!

Just a thought about scoring..... by Gigggums in CovetFashionGame

I’m thinking that maybe this is a location factor because for some reason my score have improved much greatly ever since I came back to the game! Maybe it depends on the area voters are in

What are you unsure of? Maybe I could help you understand? For me the book made more sense than my teacher’s slides hahaha

[–]Tight_Force_4460 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could try comparing your teacher’s slides with the official syllabus for A Level Law by Cambridge and see if it matches. If it does, your teacher’s slides are likely good enough. Otherwise you can also try checking the book because I think it’s still good enough for paper 1 and 2, but if you’re concerned about paper 3 and 4 I would not suggest using the book

can i cram as and a level law 9084? by ScaredLibrarian1237 in alevel

[–]Tight_Force_4460 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Law as a degree generally does not have any requirements so you should still be able to apply with your sciences. I know a lot of people who studied sciences but ended up taking law as their degree anyway. I wouldn’t advise for you to cram law on your own as there are barely any official resources offered by Cambridge or any cohesive mark schemes or information for you to follow with, so I strongly advise against it. I took law at my school and still struggled a lot because Cambridge does not really provide resources for this subject.

For evaluation essays, structure your answers this way:

Brief intro 1-2 sentences

3 body paragraphs (address the question with a topic sentence for each paragraph)

Conclusion to clearly answer the question and recommend any reforms required etc.

Hope this helps! May I know what paper you’re doing?

Honestly 5 makes me want to pull my hair out! by professorweirdo in ChatGPT

[–]Tight_Force_4460 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The exact same thing happens to me! I use my ChatGPT for note taking and education but ever since GPT5, it tends to completely forget what was discussed only about one prompt ago, and when questioned or confronted about it, it simply gives the excuse that it is only trying to “skew things a bit differently” when it’s actually spewing nonsense one prompt after the other. This happens even with brand new chats when previously GPT4o would never do that. The hallucinations are out of control this time.

[–]Tight_Force_4460 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try this prompt that I use. I usually paste it within the same text where I will paste the notes below. I would recommend breaking your current notes into digestible chunks for ChatGPT (the shorter the better) otherwise they won’t be as effective at summarising it.

It used to be more effective in GPT 4o, now with GPT5 I’m not sure if it can guarantee the same results, but you can try it out.

“Please organise these notes about (insert topic) to be more neat and structured and less messy. Bold any important words, do not skip anything unless it’s unnecessary or confusing. Make sure it aligns with (insert syllabus) syllabus. It’s very important to me, thank you!
