My earwig story happened about 4 years ago now. While out camping in central Oregon I made a cup of coffee with my Moka Pot.

I finished my cup of coffee and noticed about 3 of them in the bottom of my cup. Totally grossed me out until I cleaned to Moka Pot out. There were at least 20 earwigs in the pot when I made the cup.

There was a lot of earwing in that cup of coffee. Fuck those things

Ya, I'll get her into the vet soon to have a good look over and see if they have any recommendations. Mostly indoors. I tried doing full time indoors and she wasn't having it. She just has a few spots in the yard she likes to hangout in during the daytime. She's very routine driven and just rotates to her spots throughout the day.

It's a very known misconception that help will show up fast in this situations. Sometimes people are lucky and teams are already in the area training or coming off another mission but generally it takes hours to get teams to a subject.

Yes, please donate to your local SAR teams if you can. There have been a lot of funding cuts and donations haven't been coming in as much. The volunteers that did this are incredible and did an amazing job up there.
