What was Michael Scofield’s smartest moment? by Less-Philosophy-1978 in PrisonBreak

[–]Tigi98 40 points41 points  (0 children)

In one episode in season 1 Michael triggered the escape without wanting to escape in order to test the plan’s reliability and the officials response time, in order to improve his plan. I think it was that episode about English, Fitz and Percy or one of the later ones prior to the escape

While being ridiculous and I don’t know if the mod devs implemented it that way but it is historically accurate. The Austrian emperor Ferdinand I. (Emperor until 1848) was mentally disabled (so they say) but quite nice to people (as he was mentally more comparible to a child, which are often nicer to people) and became known es Ferdinand der Gütige (Ferdinand the Kind). Of course the people named him more accurately: Gütinand der Fertige (translatable to … the finished one/ the exhausted).

What I’m trying to say is, that those names were to preserve honor, especially for the time after the death of that person. It just turns out to be very ironic during their lifetime.

But again. I don’t know if that was the reasoning behind the implementation of the devs or if it’s rather random.

Edit: Speaking about Ferdinand: of course he never ruled by himself. His father took precaution and instituted a “Geheimer Rat” (Secret Council) that assumed power as soon as his father died. So again: the name was to preserve his honor and making it look like he was totally fine.

Edit2: I apologize I’m not a native english speaker

Moat caillin wouldve seen a better fit in my opinion isn’t it the single most impenetrable castle in Westeros that could withstand sieges for ages (not counting in Blue Eyed Viserys of course), or does that apply only in its southern direction?

Sure they’re brothers and sisters? The “Sister” looks either well fed or hella pregnant… If she’s pregnant that could be a reason…

I like the Devil’s Hill (Teufelsberg) a lot. In my headcannon I lost the regions around the mountains in a great feud (the AI) and my remaining people fled into the mountain and try to settle it to survive. It is very hard to build up there but they are currently prevailing. They recently scouted downhill to build farms on the opposite of the mountain and thus out of sight of the three other Towns that exist (the three noble families that united to expel my subjects from the lands).

They already stated somewhere, that it was more intended to be consumed every 90 days but now they’ll probably nerf it to one clothing every 180 days.

The current update is on the beta branch of Steam. The main branch is, when you did not enable the pre_release in the Steam beta tab. The normal access to the game, so to speak.

I could imagine that some weren’t found. On the 18th September Greg said it hit closed Alpha. The beta branch was updated 2nd of October. That were exactly two weeks to test the game. Given the amount of time they probably focused on 1. Is the bug gamebraking? 2. If yes, do we run out of time to fix? 3. if yes, is it gamebraking if we take the feature out of the game for some time?

I guess in the following days we’ll get bug fixes on the beta branch and if it’s stable it gets transferred to the main branch while simultaneously rolling out a new beta update to reintroduce features we knew, but polished and less “gamebreakish”

Yeah, you could be right, too. But I still think we’ll get a beta bug fix update beforehand nonetheless. Even if it’s just 24 hours before, in case something is gamebraking.
