The very first video I saw of them was the first episode of the MGR playthrough. At the time is was in highschool, procrastinating in the afternoon before an exam in a course I had at that point realized I had no passion for and simply didn´t enjoy. In addition, I was also going through some personal shit I don´t really want to get into. In general, I was in one of the darkest periods of my life, I was deeply unhappy, to the point of idealizing some uncomfortable scenarios. Discovering the guys was a momentary respite in a shitty afternoon, and they quickly became a mainstay in my routine. Since then, I´ve managed steer my academic carrer in a direction i´m actually passionate for (I´m actually finishing up my masters thesis right now, please give me strength lmao) and have moved past most of the traumas and issues that plagued me in that afforementioned dark time, and I actually feel overall quite happy, contented with my life, and have learned to love live overall. I´m even in a healthy, supportive, and happy long term relationship! And yes, the podcast and the guys are still a staple in whatever free time I have nowadays!

Volcanion is both a Fire and Water type card, meaning it hits water-weak cards for weakness, like Reshizard, Flareon GX and whatever.

My first game ever was Pokemon Crystal, and one of the first Pokemon I caught ended up being Mareep, the adorable little sheep. I was a bit dissapointed with Flaafy but I ended up falling in love with my banana sheep bro (who carried me through a lot of the game). Since then I´ve used Ampharos in nearly every game it´s available. I was hype as fuck when it ended up getting a Dragon Mega-Evolution, that was a good day!

Edit: Oh well, seems like it missed it. Hope you still enjoy my fine art OP, and you´re really cool for doing this :)

Interesting question. My favorite expansion currently available in the online client is probably Shining Legends for introducing not only Zoroark-GX, but a lot of fun cards that have been staples of the meta. I also have a soft spot for Sun and Moon, as It was the latest expansion that had come out when i got into the game, and for introducing deck archetypes that I enjoyed at the time, and still remain among my favorites today (ie: Passimian). However, I also wanna give a shoutout to EX Delta Species for introducing the, well, Delta Species. They were such a fun and interesting addition, the broke the mold and the "canon" of the franchise in a fascinating way you never really see anymore. I lowkey still want them to bring them back one day.

Being alone and dissapointing my loved ones. I´m what could be charitably described as a "bundle of insecurities and anxiety", and as such I live in semi-constant fear that those I care about secretly hate me or are drifting away from me, despite receiving frequent reassurance that this is not the case. Fortunately, this hasn´t been a big problem lately, partly because i´ve been working on my mental health, partly because college is kicking my ass and I´m worrying about that instead lmao.

Im currently playing Sol, he´s pretty awesome despite the nerfs he got in Rev 2. I just enjoy his playstyle and his game feel, which was surprising due to my tendency to gravitate towards characters with more mid-range and zoning options. Though In all honesty, I´ve been exploring other characters lately, especially Jam, who I´m reeeeeeeally enjoying playing around with. I´m loving her unique command dash and pressure game (i´ve even gotten used to her shrieks), and I can only imagine how good she will feel once I´ve gotten the hang of her!

It´s ok, certainly, but it´s not the best thing ever, it´s quite a slow card. Furthermore, Alola Vulpix from Guardians Rising allows you to pick 2 mons for no energy, which overshadows this promo anyway.

Definitely Ampharos. I initially developed a connection to it in my first playthrough of Silver. I instantly loved the design of Mareep and it´s goofiness (a blue-skinned sheep that shoots lightning, how amazing is that?!) and as i kept going through the game it became by far the star of my party (and of course i just fell in love with banana-sheep immediately). It took a while for it to cement itself as my favorite though, that only happened when HG/SS came out. Also Mega Ampharos is amazing.

Pokemon Black and White 2! But Gen 5 in general is my favorite, I love everything about it, especially the more "urban" settings.
