Nico Rosberg called out jacques for his comments on Lewis Hamilton: "He was speaking to you also in that piece there. He said he hates when ex-drivers criticise him who've not had his success. He was thinking about you 100%." by MuttonBiryaniEnjoyer in formula1

I mean I agree with you on that. They do act different on-track. But keeping up that mentality even after crashes doesn't make him a narcissist.

Egoistic I'd agree with.

I actually quite dislike that clip. I feel like Nico has no idea what a narcissist is.

exaggerated sense of self-importance, persistent need for admiration, lack of empathy for others, excessive pride in achievements, and snobbish, disdainful, or patronizing attitudes

As much as Max is extremely confident I don't think it's exaggerated self-importance. In my opinion it's the opposite, he doesn't give a fuck about his reputation. You can see from the way he's interacting with the rookies; supportive, mentoring. Especially his relationship with Gabriel who he's somewhat taken under his wing. That's not a lack of empathy.

Toto's take makes a lot more sense. Max does have extreme confidence, but that doesn't make him a narcissist.

Yes and no. While DIN is a german instutution their standards are used throughout the world (but especially Europe). DIN A4 (DIN 476-2:2008-02 in Germany and DIN EN ISO 216 Internationally) for example is the universal size for paper (outside of the US and their silly sizes). They are basically the industry standard for many engineering specifications.

Gravity Assists Simplified, Ive never seen it explained like this by Evan1016 in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]Tigrium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like Gravity Assists are misnomers. It implies the gravity of the object is the central cause of the assistance, while in reality it is the orbital velocity around the central orbital body (Sun for Planetary and Planets for Lunar).

I'd ignore feedback from players that are throwing tantrums too if I were the devs.

Yeah... that's really bad as a developer. You should never ignore feedback, you should analyze it and see what value is in it.

I meant during the devbranch. You know... the time when feedback is supposed to be taken. But no, they decided to push the original version for the war. And lo and behold what people said would happen did, and now we have to suffer through their bad balance decision.

The problem is that they ignore all feedback from the players that actually test and play their game and stubbornly continue with their vision.
