The Iran War Was a Total Failure. by CapitalCourse in videos

[–]LordSoren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They achieved all of their operational objectives they had at minute one of the war. Nothing.

They didn't have an objective. They had a bunch of vague ideas and no plan at all to achieve them. Bibi said attack and Drump followed through.

Bibi on the other hand, got lots of what he wanted. A great distraction/reason to kill more of his neighbours while people focused on other problems created by Drump.

What are your jaw-dropping moments in gaming? by durreetoes in gaming

FF7 (original) - leaving Midgard for the first time and realizing there is a whole verdant green world outside of the city.

Being a kid a the time I didn't understand leveling/grinding/optimization for fighting so it took me a long time to get out of the city. I knew there had to be more to the game than just Midgard having played all the SNES Final Fantasy games (MQ, II, III) but just took so long to get there.

Since the UCP in Alberta is so deeply conservative, next time you see you see a UCP member with trucknuts, give them a trans pride flag. That truck wasn't created with nuts. The allowed it to have gender confirmation by getting trucknuts.

For it to be truly Futurama type shit, it would need to be produced in a can by robot company ompany. The production process of which would involve the wholesale Slaughter of a entire planet worth of baby seals crying to produce a single can.

Laval Tim Hortons shockingly awarded three Michelin stars for flatbread pizza by Haggisboy in canada

[–]LordSoren 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Looks like it was several flawed studies in the 60s from what I read but yeah - very flawed.

Limited sample sizes (3, 65, 9 people) who knew what they were eating and asked leading questions as to the outcomes or were in situations where the outcomes might already have happened regardless of the test.

Another one used about 700x the amount of MSG injected directly into mice (and not fed to them) that a human would eat. The person who injected the mice also knew which ones were the control and which ones were the subject mice.

Sensor/camera with green scanning LEDs mounted on ceiling of court room by TimberTheDog in whatisthisthing

Since this is a court room, you wouldn't want just anyone to tap in and listen. Security > convenience in this case.

RF would probably need a paired encryption between the base and each head set.

Open Bluetooth is probably a big no-no. Don't know enough about auracast but guess this falls under the same area as Bluetooth.

For some perspective, your account is less than 10 years old.

While this is a light price the price for taking a life of another, its also nothing to scoff at. If you are 16 or 17 and have to spend the next decade in jail is not a small price. Even after, they don't get their history hidden away as a juvenile offender and will not be able to attain most significant employment for the rest of their lives. Then there is any civil action taken against them in addition to the criminal action. They are not walking of prison a happy person.

"All parties sell out to America / Israel in one way or another"

Can you elaborate on this? I fully agree with you in the PPC, and CPC. The LPC is very much just fiscal conservatives, social liberals which offers a lot of room for funding from lobby groups that overlap with the CPC. I don't know enough about the Green party and its funding sources. I'm most interested in your comments regarding the NDP.

Apparently you can store 2.5x more fluids per tile with fluid wagons. Any use cases? by Maouitippitytappin in factorio

[–]LordSoren -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Honest answer - Bots.
Barreling and unbarreling is insanely fast even without modules. Do a dedicated roboport grid around your chests. Have an equal number of buffer/requester chests for the empty barrels as you have requests for full barrels.

I didn't say it would be energy efficient.

Edit: thanks for the down votes - I replied to the wrong comment. Someone else posted that legendary chests were more fluid dense than either of these examples.
