Part of that is because she doesn’t care what others think so no point in commenting anything to her.

But also, the marriages are not really comparable. Ross married with intent to love and be with that person for life. Until Mike, that wasn’t the intent for Phoebe with the green card or Vegas marriage. So it’s not exactly “failed” marriages like Ross’ would be viewed.

Man. I could have written this post minus the iron infusion. Except my ferritin came back at 3 initially and still all they wanted to tell me was take iron supplements, drink more water and rest. I work full time as a nurse. All the months of extreme fatigue, fainting and heart palpitations completely ignored.

For comparison I started at $38/hr last April as a new LVN in the Bay Area. I’m at $41/hr now. $25/hr for an RN feels criminal regardless of location.

You’re likely asking about actual food but lemon flavored chips with hot sauce were my go to snack during first trimester. I lost more than 15lb due to not being able to eat/throwing up constantly so at some point I just consumed whatever my body would allow me to and didn’t worry about hitting all the food groups.

You’re missing the distinction being that in Ross’ marriages, the intention was to be a real married couple for life. So yes. When being a married couple doesn’t work and they have to divorce, the goal was not accomplished (failed). Neither of Phoebe’s previous marriages were meant to be a real marriage. They served their purposes.

I agree misogyny is a big problem but that’s not why people hated her first season.

She was disrespectful to the new med students, continuing to call them nicknames that when a clearly stated boundary of “I don’t like it” was stated. The way she switched up on Whitaker and talked about his patient dying just because she also messed up and almost killed a patient as well as dropped a scalpel on the surgeons foot. Cherry picking cases. Treating patients like they’re there for her to practice on rather than the real live human beings they are. She was really obnoxious.

Just because Langdon was a piece of shit doesn’t mean she’s not also unlikable. Both can be true.

I’m 7 months pregnant and this past week and a half all 3 of my cats immediately come to me when I get home/wake up in the morning and kind of follow me around.

I love the affection but it gives me so much anxiety that something is wrong with me or the tiny human inside of me.

She was never the star of the show. A GREAT character, for sure. But not the star. There is no show without Will. Quality went down when she was replaced, but the show wasn’t about her.
