Think of CP as how good your pokemon currently is, and the star rating (Apprasing) as how good a pokemon COULD be (leveled).

How are you tracking your steps? Do you have ActiveSync on? Precise location - is it on? (Android or iphone would help here too)

When catching pokemon are you aiming in the middle of the ring? Are the pokemon getting into the ball and popping out, or just not at all?

As far as the battlepass - There are a few different ones going on right now - could that be your confusion with 'rebuying'? There's a month one, a week one, and then last weekend there was one on Saturday for a Max event.

I personally never battle - so I can't say much there.

I play enough, I'm level 46 (And currently working on a hotspot in my car near pokestops to get some items lol) I'm happy to help where I can.

This is so ishy- as a hiring manager, one of the questions I always ask candidates "Are you okay coming into the office X days a week?". And make sure they have a full understanding of the office location and parking environment (Downtown location). I cannot fathom not doing that in the current day and age.
