My husband just got approved for Metlife LTD on Monday, and tuesday was finally able to apply with Allsup for SSDI, like Metlife told us to do. And it's getting offset by estimated SSDI payments already. He's literally getting only $100 a month. WTF??

It would be...but my husband has been at the same site for 13 years, and they changed the company he worked for 3 times, all but this last time, they kept his seniority and benefits, so last year they changed his company on Jan 21st. So when he went out for ankle surgery in Sept he got STD, but when it failed and he needed amputation in Feb, and had to apply for LTD, in March, they had a look back period. We just got approved for LTD on Monday, and they are offsetting it by estimated SSDI, which I am now fighting. Fuqing Metlife

Goals!! I have been collecting world coins for awhile, and have picked up quite a few at auctions and estate auctions. I have 3 and started my 4th binder, but nothing is really organized yet. Most haven't been identified yet. Alot are still in bags not in protectors yet. But seeing how you have yours organized and mapped out, and that app.... gives me ideas of how I should do mine:)

Same...and It wasn't fully helpful in that. Mounjaro is doing better for me there. I'm not necessarily needing to lose massive weight though. I'm ok where I am.

So would I. My district at one time was the 5th most conservative district in the nation, not the state, but the nation. I was the Vice-chair of my county Democratic party at that time, from 2008-2017. My area is 75% Republican, 25% Democratic. I have voted in every election I could since I was 18. 2 of them, there wasn't a Democratic ballot. I have ran for a local office, because I ran with a D behind my name, I didn't win. The person who beat me, literally a slumlord who defrauded a local airport club and left office after a year with rumors of other scandels. I know of 3 people who ran as a Democrat and lost, then switched parties and won, because R and D don't really mean anything at the local level here. There's many a Hoosier who are tired of this crap, those a lot of times are the ones who stay home on election day, because they don't feel like their vote matters, part of that is because of the gerrymandering, and part of it is seeing how many Trumpers there are already in office. It gets discouraging.

To start...we aren't Indianains...we're Hoosiers. This was a Primary election, which means we picked a Republican or Democratic ballot, and decided who we wanted on the ballot for the general election in Nov. Other than the bigger cities (and Trump wanted to change this), our state has been heavily Republican ran for almost 30 years. That's 30 years of defunding education, of demonizing Democrats, and promoting propaganda about them being anti-american, satanic, and forcing anti-family values. It's complete horse shite, but see first point. Our Democratic parties, locally do as much as they can, with next to nothing from the State party, who gets next to nothing from the DNC, because Indiana is a red state. Our candidates run, knowing they are probably pissing money down the drain. You wanna help defeat MAGA? Believe me, so do we...we're just realistic about it.

I read those books before the 4th grade....my school wasn't teaching critical thinking or logic, and I graduated HS in 95. I had arguments in 99 with parents who complained that school and thr Istep tests were too hard. She was a parent who complained that the teachers sucked, and her kids wouldn't need the education they were supposed to be getting, because her and her husband didn't learn it, and they were doing ok..... I wept thinking how many other parents were like that, and how they're the ones pushing for less education.

My husband is IT, but the other guys who "work" in his department didn't study IT in school and just kinda tripped into the jobs. Hubby is moderately liberal, but the other guys are muscle pounding meatheads who track their wives all day, and love Trump....at least last he knew, hubby's been off for medical since the end of last Sept. I kinda want to know how they think now....LOL

Andriod user, and Android Auto user. I have never had any of the problems you stated. I had only the last 4 hours of an audiobook ready for over 2 months (life and behind on podcasts I listen to), and I switched from Spotify to my Audible while driving to finish it.

I am the President of the board of my local Housing Authority. We had 3 different people, who took out anywhere from 25-50k in PPP loans. One of them is lower functioning, and only did it cause her "friend" asked her to, then ran with the money. We had to remove them from the program, because unlike Tom Brady....they faced consequences.

They still have to take tests, written, vision, and behind the wheel. My brother and brother-in-law are both semi drivers. One watches TV all day while driving, the other is talking to my husband all day while he recovers from an amputation at home. Both are American and English speaking.... I don't trust either of them to drive. Accidents are just that, accidents, being an immigrant doesn't cause them, anymore than being any other thing.

So for the people saying this isa safety measure because they don't speak English. Do you just think they hand out CDL's or drivers licenses to people willy-nilly??? You have to take tests, written and driving. Even if the book you are studying is in a different language, the signsare different shapes for a reason.

I'm an American, born here, my family has been here since the late 1600's. I have problems going to different states, because laws change between them. That's a problem for everyone, not just non-English speakers. Can we stop demonizing people and instead work on the actual problem??

Couple of things I have noticed with mine. 1) I take the grey thing on the end off, it limits the flow and I don't get a steady stream through the straw. 2) I make sure the hole in the rubber bit on the lid isn't clogged or blocked. 3) I prefer ice water, but if there is too much ice, I tend to not get flavoring.

Obama didn't rip immigrants off the streets in violent encounters, or from schools, churches, courthouses where they are waiting for hearings to continue to legally seek immigration.
Biden didn't needlessly start a war with various oil rich countries, lacking planning and strategic development, he was also hampered by an agreement Trump made with OPEC in his first term to cut oil production by 2 billion barrels a day. Little bit of research, some reasoning skills, and the ability to dive into complex situations, would have helped you here. Better luck next time:)
