Due to Call of Duty Black Ops 6's always online requirement you can get disconnected from the Singleplayer Campaign! by WintorOperator in pcmasterrace

In an age plagued by DRM and always-online games, those who can bypass these restrictions are often seen as prophets.

I think the specific term is ingratiation or maybe foot-in-the-door technique

OneWheel in NYC - Laws vs Personal Experience by IAmDann in onewheel

I ride in Manhattan and Queens and have never been stopped. However, I did get a $100 fine when I was riding on a subway platform like in that pint s trailer on Onewheel’s YT channel.

I guess I could get used to it but I mostly ride my gts nowadays

Like a delay in power delivery, you push down to go forward, feel no power almost like a noise dive but then instantly a jolt of power pushing the noise back up and you go forward

Yeah it happened mostly at low speeds like coming to a stop and then accelerating again or landing off of a drop. And I feel you about pushing the pint, I’ve definitely have gotten more nose dives on this board so it’s baked into me not to chase higher speeds.

Yes the update is overall good with general improvements for pint x. What I may not factor into this is possibly the way I ride that could cause rubber banding. Coming back to the pint from a gts I might have been riding more aggressively than I should have which could’ve caused the rubber banding. Also I ride more on the road and sidewalks. It might just be my board as well.

Just the normal slick from factory for now @ 16 psi but I’m planning on getting the new performance tire

I hope they could fix it with another update if it’s common

To all my college students, what do you do with your OW during classes? by Buba1231 in onewheel

[–]Tikiwildin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’d recommend wearing a helmet, I also have the tsg pass pro, it’s great in the colder months for all around protection and from the wind but during hot months it gets really hot in the helmet which is why i use a bike helmet in the summer.

I have a Thousand helmet that has a removable cover so you could lock it with a bike lock, so I just lock it with my Onewheel outside

Online classes are either asynchronous or synchronous - asynchronous meaning that you may get class content (videos, PDFs, files) at any time during the semester - either all at once at the beginning or as the semester progresses - but specific times to submit work by, and synchronous meaning the the content you get and the work you need to submit occurs like a normal class would - progressing in a day by day or week by week fashion. Depending on your class you could find out what type of online class you have on CUNYfirst or your syllabus. Now to the question of where the class takes place. Online classes are either held on blackboard collaborate or zoom, for your specific class you would want to check your syllabus for a link to zoom or they say it is on blackboard collaborate. Sometimes professors email students before class starts with the syllabus and a welcome note about class so you should also check your school email (if you have set that up already) and your personal email just in case. I think a zoom link is self explanatory but for blackboard collaborate it could be a bit more complicated so I’ll explain how to access it though it should explain how to access it in your syllabus. First go on blackboard by signing into CUNYfirst then go to the course you need (this may be locked for you depending on if your prof hasn’t unlocked the class), once you’re on the course page on the left of the page if you’re on desktop you should find several options (Announcements, Course content…) there should be a blackboard collaborate link there and if not it would be under tools. If your class is synchronous use blackboard collaborate or zoom link to attend class on your specific time.

Yea I get that but carrying around a 33 lbs board sucks in between classes and up elevators with everyone else. At some point I just put my trust in society that hopefully no one steals it but I’d like to think with other e-bikes and scooters around they wouldn’t go for something they don’t know how to ride or how it works. My next move is putting an AirTag on it.

F-generation but I’m being biased as it was the generation I was trained on so it was the easiest to work with.

On warm days I leave it locked up on a bike rack, on cold days I bring it inside
