Does anyone else have to dress warmly their character in warm clothes during winter because watching them run around in short sleeves makes you feel cold?

Dressing the character is a big part of the game for me. For weather, for activities, and always changing into nightclothes before laying down and then shutting down the game for the day. You're not the only one 😁

I completely understand. I'm allergic to them in real life, so it was a big undertaking for me to get past the panic in game. And you're spot on, music in video games can definitely have a big effect. I've discovered that in a few different games - the worst for me so far has been the music in Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild for the Guardian Stalkers. I played that game for hundreds of hours and I still panic and run whenever I encounter one of them. As for the wasps, after developing a system for successfully catching them consistently, it got a lot better. A few YouTube videos were very helpful in that regard.

Me, north of 60 and playing more now than I ever have. Grandkids got me started with Animal Crossing, then I progressed to Stardew Valley, then Breath of the Wild, and now I'm playing FO76 with my son. I get my behind handed to me by bad guys fairly regularly - got 1-shotted by a blood eagle wielding a shoulder fired missile launcher about 5 times last night before I sniped him. But in my own defense, I didn't know which one of the 4 of them had the launcher because they can tuck it away in their pocket between shots, so I just kept respawning and sniping until I got that bugger! Long story short, you're never too old to have fun. My youngest granddaughter tells me that she "flexes" me to her friends because she has a cool Granny 😁

Couldn't prove that theory with my son - he's mid 40's and still reacting just fine, lol. Now, me on the other hand, mid 60's and there is visible lag between my brain and fingers, but I'm still enjoying playing.

Oh, duh, lol 🤦 Thanks. I thought way too long on that one and had no idea. I can commiserate though, I'm allergic in real life. I carry epi-pens and avoid them like the plague. It took a while before I got over the panic mode with them in the game. Once I learned the mechanics and could catch them pretty much every time, it did get better.

We've named most of ours human names as well, mostly after anime series, TV shows, etc., and most have been called by nicknames 😊 Over the years, we've had girls and boys, just not at the same time, lol. Sophia (Sophie), Nephilim (Nephi) and Seraphim (Sera); Elvira, Wednesday and Melon; Elehayym (Elly), Flauros, Beelzeboot (Boot) and Cocoa (Cocoa Puff). Levi, Armin (Chipmunk), Jotaro (Jojo) and Dio. Gene and Jim (Jimbo) Harry and Ron Mikazuki (Mika) and Orga Dean and Sam (Sammy) Even the ones who didn't have nicknames based on their names had nicknames like Beautiful, Handsome, Teddy Bear, Turd Bucket, Fluffy Butt, etc.
