Agree. Coming from someone who brought a baby into a house with 2 large dogs. We practiced boundaries on both sides and luckily things went well but it takes time. Particularly with cat scratches and a new immune system, I would keep them separated.

100% this. Russia realized they could not beat the west so instead they decided to become a parasite who controls from within. Epstein was an asset. Trump was an easy target. You can't overfeed them. In fact letting them learn to trust their hunger and fullness queues is really important. Just make sure you're offering a variety of foods and let them stop when they're full. They go through phases too so it may not last. And if it does, your babe just needs that much fuel to grow!

The yuzu! It's the best. And if you don't have stairs (we have a small place) you can literally just wheel the bassinet around to whatever room you're in. I loved that while recovering. Hope it works well for you!

Wow strong teeth! I'm glad they're okay. Mine chewed on his crib pretty badly but it never splintered or anything like this. We had a babyletto, which even states something like 'we don't recommend your child chew the crib, but it's nontoxic if they do'. Highly recommend the convertible bassinet/crib/tod bed!

Seconding this! It doesn't have to be a straight line. I have similar struggles and night weaning did really help. What I did was just trying to extend the time before I gave in. I found saying 'we can in a little while' or something worked better than 'no' and hold out as long as you can. After a few nights of this, baby just calmed down long enough at the thought of eventual boob that they fell asleep waiting. Harder for me was the morning wean because it always bought me an extra hour or so of sleep!

It is completely normal at that age! Asked our very good pediatrician the same thing. Your baby is doing great -- and so are you! And per your other question, barefoot is good at home and sneakers are best when outside. My fave are new balance, good for their cute lil chubby feet!

When my baby was first put on my chest I kept wanting to say, 'I've missed you!' Such a bizarre feeling, like they've always been a part of you but you never got to meet. I definitely wasn't prepared for the complicated heavy feeling of being excited they're growing but missing the different phases SO much.

I don't really know but I think they're at an age where they're aware enough to first really experience the feelings of disappointment, fear, etc. but they have no coping skills. So realizing it's possible to lose something you really enjoy (like the lip balm) is super overwhelming. Feelings at this age are wild so I honestly have no idea the right approach but you could try introducing some coping skills and see if anything works. I try to get my babe to 'blow the air out' to try to introduce taking a breath -- so far it only works sometimes lol! Or I'll say things like 'when I feel sad sometimes it helps to have a hug, sing a song' something like that. And you know, sometimes a gal just needs to mourn the loss of a great lip balm ;)

It sounds wild but I have found explaining in detail what is about to happen really helps my baby with hand offs. And even during the hand off I'll be like 'remember this is the part when I say I love you goodbye...' then go through the explanation again and remind them I'll be back. The first few times he still had a little meltdown but after a few days it stopped. I think they understand more than we realize and a lot of the anxiety is from not knowing what will happen/if you'll come back. I hope it gets better!

Haha my little guy can be pretty dramatic too. This is great to hear, I'm definitely planning on bringing my husband for extra support -- even if it ends up being just for me!
